Adding to positive comments about TireRack, local shops that partner with TR have special pricing for mounting/balancing, which is listed on their website and which could be huge savings over regular pricing, smthg like $25 vs. $45 per tire... but as always a shop may "forget" about it so you'll have to remind them.

I test drove Volt, is a good car @ ~$20K and you can compare it to Prius. But at roughly twice of that, it's way overpriced and economically doesn't make sense whatsoever.

AFAIK contrary to what they show on TV and despite what lawyers ad may say, in reality it's very difficult to win a discrimination/wrongful termination case. You have to have solid proof. Your 'feelings' and 'he said/she said' won't cut it.
