Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
Was going down Waples Mill heading towards Oakton road intersection. I encountered 4 lil' fawns crossing the road at different points. I hit a big old buck a few years back so I'm paranoid about them things. Why they so active this time of year? How about some hunters with night vision goggles and a silencer
You don't need night vision and a silencer. In my neighborhood all you need is some corn and a bat. The deer have no fear and walk right up to our doorstep to eat our plants. All these whiners who say "oh don't kill those poor helpless deer" obviously haven't hit one yet. With no natural preditors they breed out of control and then have to go searching for food in populated areas. Thin the population!
Oh, and squirrels suck this time of year too. Stupid buggers make it 3/4 across the road, then freak, reverse course and "splat", road pancake. Wife splattered one in our driveway, nice stain.

Yeah I hit him! That fucker was talking shit about my Girl. I tried to cool him out but he was all stoned and drunk as fuck. He called her a slutty whore and I hit that fucker right in his motha-fuckin' mouth. He went down like a ton of bricks! Teach that fucker to talk shit to me again, ya heard?
it's only going to get worse. according to this article, there will be a shortage of acorns which will drive more deer out of the woods in search of food.
