When you take six penalties in a row, you will face a lot of shots. Some were accurate calls, some were BS, but it sure tilted the ice in the Pens favor. All that PK time wears down the checking lines, and the Caps were dog tired. I think it says more that, despite the Caps being outplayed, outhit and outshot, it still took the Pens 11 minutes of overtime and a lucky deflection to win it.
