I've had this problem before and the first thing you need to do is figure out where air is leaking out from. Then, use one of those patch kits they give you when you buy an inflatable raft to repair the hole. Hope that helps. Any a very Merry Christmas to you!

It is a great store. I actually worked in the original Fresh Market while in college back in the 80's. There is another thread on here that stated they were going to open up in the old Giant store in Fairfax City. Still waiting for that to happen.

What do you think they will do about school tomorrow? I am thinking(hoping) that since they have already missed a few days, they will start on time and just let out early. They would look pretty stupid if they cancelled the whole day and it did not snow until the afternoon. On the other hand, if it comes down hard in late morning it could be a messy ride home.

While I generally love Harris Teeter, I cannot stand the new one in Crystal City at the intersection of Rt. 1 & Glebe. They essentially walled off part of the parking garage of a building and put in the HT. I find the layout of the store confusing, and in parts of the store the ceiling is very low, giving it a cramped feeling. I understand that in an urban environment such as Crystal City

If this is true, it is great news. The Fresh Market is a wonderful upscale grocery store based out of Greensboro, NC. Much better than Trader Joes and on par, if not better, than Whole Foods.

The Northern Neck area of Va is nice, especially during the growing season. There are several "pick your own" farms in the area. There is also a nice state park along the Potomac River, although I cannot remember the name off-hand.

I remember that. I think I had just moved into the Lake Braddock neigh. Apparently there was an electrical short on one of the trucks which started the fire. Because the building was so old, it did not have the proper smoke detectors. There was also a lawn mower place right next to it at the time.

I can understand their (the state) not mowing the medians to save money, but what really bugs me is the conditions of the drain openings. They are so overgrown it is hard to see how they can properly drain the run-off during heavy rains.

It is not the state doing this mowing. I suspect some hoa's are paying their landscapers extra to mow the medians adjacent to their developments. I have seen this done on Rolling Rd near Interstate Van lines. As a resident of Burke, I appreciate their efforts. I just wish the state would do more.
