Name some places in Fairfax County that still rent out VHS movies.

The only place I can think of is TOP 10 VIDEO in Springfield.

Any others?

Why bother? A DVD player costs under $30 (http://www.buy.com/prod/coby-dvd224-dvd-player-dvd-rw-dvd-rw-cd-rw-dvd-video-jpeg-mpeg-1-mpeg/q/loc/111/210772422.html) with free shipping and blows VHS video quality out of the water. Also, you can rent DVDs from Redbox for $1.

There is still a lot of stuff on VHS that was never released on DVD.

Movies. Concerts. Sporting Events. etc...

Both the Blockbuster and the Hollywood Video stores in the Mt. Vernon area just up and closed like 5 days ago. Not only can't you rent VHS these days, but even DVD rental business is in the tank.

1989? 8mm and Betamax were already dead by then. So was 8-track tapes.

I know a guy at work actually has a fucking 8-track player in his car! He likes to tell everyone that's it's the best format and so forth. I have no idea where he gets tapes for it, you haven't even seen them in yard sales for 20 years now.
