Oh that's a bad bowel dilemma.

Our bodies are a lot like machines. They have self lubricating parts.

Take the colon for instance. It produces mucous that allows your digested food remnants to be sent down the assembly line.

This mucous by itself doesn't smell horrible, but once mixed in with fecal matter and gases, this on your tighty whities is going to reek. Yes even more than skid marks, which aren't going to make anyone happy.

I'm going to try to collect this mucous, and see if it can stink up a car or room. I find this shit fascinating.

Mucus in the stool may indicate that there is inflammation or irritation of the intestinal wall. Mucus in the stool can occur with either constipation or diarrhea. It's usually whitish in color.

According to alternative medicine practitioners, mucus in stool may be caused by bacterial overgrowth and food allergies and sensitivities which may be addressed with dietary changes and supplements. With bacterial overgrowth, bloating and gas are usually worse after eating any sugar, whether it's white sugar, bread, pasta, rye, rice, or milk (which contains the sugar lactose).

**Maybe you need bacterial transplant.

As obtuse as user name Dr Diarrhea is, their information is actually more correct. Only a qualified GI can diagnose and rule out other conditions that are far more serious.

While it does sound like many on this thread are in need of medical intervention, this is a typical medical doc response... only a doctor can make you "healthy" with expensive diagnostics, procedures, and medicines. If people managed their own health, you'd be out of business.

Two things you'll never see in your office: my ass and my money.

Sorry Dive. Do you have bottles of Immodium on hand? A shame there's no delivery service on that.

As to the previous post, while I'm thankful to the med staff at Fairfax, the clothes pins on their noses were offensive. The pain of that twisted colon hurt immensely.

But yes doctors in the asshole field are assholes. That's very true and the oversized basketball I dropped proves their work was like fixing part of the hole on the Titanic.

Walking out of the LL Bean store, you smell the tantalizing aromas of Cinnabons. The glaze on them looks tasty. People eat these delectable treats in front of you. Your stomach rumbles and you forget the $4 bun cost, and ignore the fact you are supporting the employment of some wetback who wants to send his minimum wage dollars home to El Salvador.

It tastes so good. Yes it melts in your mouth. Yet soon it will cause unspeakable damage.

Yes, the Cinnabon with the frosting when fresh, warm and highly aromatic is a temptation of huge proportions. My weakness at the food court is the deep dish pizza piled high with toppings and fresh from the brick oven. Either way we run the risk of hours on the groan throne not to mention the prerequisite bloating and gas.

If anyone has any excess colon mucous, please leave it on your underwear and share a picture, or leave an address I can pick it up.

Colon mucous is jelly like in consistency. Although clear in color most of the time, it's putrid odor is its one negative.

If yellow or other colors, definitely see a doctor.

Yet clear usually shows you through your underpants, that fecal matter is being lubed up for discharge.

Dive the bloating, gas and ultimate gigantic crap are perhaps a clear reminder of what tastes good might not be good for your bowels.

One thing is for certain, any Santa Claus at any mall across America has tremendous bowels.

Its that time of year, the festive season where people are shopping for gifts. Cash registers manned by people like Antonio or Julio, are ringing up sales and stealing your credit card information.

People are putting up their Christmas trees, which were cut by Islamic terrorists, who's bowels are fine but other things might be explosive. Be sure to check your tree for ball bearings.

The Honeybaked Ham store is taking orders from white Anglo Saxon housewives, whom have pool boys without a pool, and husbands who work countless hours with bowels of all shapes and sizes.

If Santa could bring me one thing out of his sack, I would love a great set of bowels. Instead I'll be on the groan throne, ordering gifts online from Amazon, where Jose and other wetbacks will be throwing shit in boxes, and if they arrive I hope they might not be totally smashed.

Your colon produces a mucous to aid in digestion. That's amazing although this mucous has some disappointments. The main one is the stench. It's putrid rank just horrible the scent. I'm trying to see if someone has this clear jelly like substance, to see if I can make the smells better. It stinks because the fecal matter, gases, and other broken down byproducts that go through our systems.

Steak and cheese with fries at lunch; smooth sailing ~2 hours after. Hope this sends some good bowel karma your way!

There is no doubt that whoppers with or without cheese are weapons of ass destruction. Having said that I still have to eat one every 6 weeks or so. They are just so damn good.

Maybe that's why Matilda woke me up this morning.

Good morning my brown trodden friends. Here's wishing you all smooth sailing.

Do you think this couch toilet would be practical?

Hey Dive,
Have you seen the movie "Idiocracy"? The dude had a recliner toilet, your sofa toilet reminds me of that.

To my other friends here, add this bidet seat to your Christmas list. It's a life changer.

I feel like I just passed something about the size of a 20 pound propane tank out my starfish and , yes there is a small amount of bleeding involved. Once I recover I will have to climb two flights of stairs to get my plunger from the master bath. Things are smelling a little funky here in the basement right now. This one is not going to bend around the J tube without help.

Oh man been there down that. As for those devices I'll think about them after tearing off the linoleum.

Getting off work in a few hours. Going to head over to Herndon and eat at the Waffle king Virginia kitchen. If you have never had breakfast there you need to put it on your bucket list. Crisp, flavorful waffles and bacon cooked just right. I have the next two nights off, poop well my friends!

Oh my goodness! Are you mad sir?

That's a barrage of bowel busting foods.

It's a good idea not to judge family members by their bowels.

As a man with a bad set, obviously I'm sympathetic to my sisters woes.

Yet Matilda's screaming in the Giant bathroom, accompanied by an employee commenting of an elephant shitting this is one of those days I want to disappear.

This is actually an interesting post. While I'd be interested in learning about Eesh's bowels, what I'm curious about is prison foods effects on bowels. Was IBS a major issue, and if a prisoner had bowel problems, would they get a cell with an additional groan throne?

Yes come on down. We will take care of that plus clean the interior as well. $40 we take credit cards checks cash.

Those prunes cleared out my system again. Only problem is they are very expensive. On a fixed budget this does not help.

A Gouda burger at Wendy's was a bad idea. There's going to be am explosion from my ass crack. The cheesy fries and frosty also. What was I thinking eating something like that?

Is that the mucus that Dr D talks about? I'm curious if that could work better than castor oil.

I'm doing some research and will post if found, but looking for children books about IBS, so the younger generation can champion our cause. We need young folks to talk about bowel problems in public venues, as senior citizens like myself can't always get the word out very well.

Congressman Connollys office has promised to help, but I sense indifference from his staff.

User name Brown Onion,

Good luck with that. I'm sure correspondence of your immaturity about bowels, mucous and other topics, will lead to federal officials checking on your welfare.
