WTOP is reporting this as a brushfire... Not sure why. There is a huge fire department response. I was stuck in the traffic jam heading south on Waples Mill towards shirley gate. Retards are tring to turn onto 29 north where only 1 lane is getting by, preventing me from driving straight. Anybody get pictures?

Does anyone else think it is funny that Gov. McDonnell must make an offical proclamation to tell everyone about 1.5 miles of shoulder lane being opened for use? It is taking 20 million dollars of state money to convert pavement that already exists! Approval for such an expense has to come straight from the top.
