Lets get back to the DSL and internet. I have my own wifi (secured of course) leach off 2 neighbors and am cracking a 3rd. I got cox. im 17,800 ft from the CO and I will never get it. So wtf are tehy screwing over my lawn!? I drove around once and counted and found 32 wifi connecions. The news did it too.

Bull Run Park/Battlefield (any battlefield is good, Antietam has a 12 miler that can be done in a day) Walk from Hemlock Overlook to Union Mill, bunch of trails along Bull Run there. The new cross county trail W + OD trail Shannandoah is always cool, theres a bazillion things to do there. Not so many druggies (I never saw em)

According to a techie I asked at the county admin building, the ssid is "FCPS" and no password/quotes. Free internet but no network drive. Plugging into wall requires username and password. All schools now have things on the walls near the ceiling that are hotspots. That pic at the bottom is basically what they are, they say "cisco aironet | wireless acess point. That's what you need.
