They plan a mixed-use development at the airport. Mixed use means people will live there. Who the fuck would want to live at an airport (besides people who like planes, or pilots/flight attendants)? There is a lot of noise associated with an airport as well as bright lights all night. I would think they might have a problem getting people to live there. A convention center would be cool though.

Making the kid pay and do the repairs is great. Also telling him that his friends suck but not telling him he cannot hang out with them is great. If only there would be more good parents like you. Oh and your wife is dumb.

A Nissan Altima being used as a taxi? If I called for a cab and a Nissan Altima showed up, I would call the cab company and tell them to send something with a back seat that a reasonable person could actually fit into.

What is the problem with a party once a month? Surely you also have people at your house once a month. If they were having a party 4 days a week, every week, that would certainly be offensive. But once a month seems reasonable.

Drive to manassas and take a cab. When the show is over, walk past the traffic jam to the waiting taxis and use one to return to where you parked.

Assholes who drive slow in the left lane cause the people stuck behind them to become aggressive drivers when they would otherwise not be. Who doesn't get at least a little angry when they get stuck behind some asshole cruising along at 60 in the left lane? By ticketing slow left lane drivers, the police will do much more to increase safety and reduce crashes. I usually agree with AAA's opinion b

Lots of people bitched about how the 495 express lanes project tied up traffic, closed or shifted lanes, or caused them inconvenience in some way while it was under construction. Now I don't have exact dates on when the major construction started and finished, but it would seem to me that 14 miles of 2 lanes each way were built rather quickly. The only interstate lane expansion project which I ca

With all these apartments in Tysons that are going to be primarily using Metro as the method of transportation, what will the residents do when they need to make a trip to costco, or buy a large amount of groceries, or buy some furnature? Without a car, or at least one of moderate size, how will these people transport their purchases home? Also, does anybody else think it is ironic that the metr

ABC stores are now open on Sundays, ABC reports significantly increased profits due to this. I say open most of them 24 hours, then state revenues will increase even more. As said above, ABC stores are located well enough, it is simply the restricted hours they are open that is inconvenient.

So Marriott wants to assist guests who adopt cost-effective transportation options? Then where is the complimentary diesel fuel dispenser for people who drive fuel efficient diesel cars? Where is the complimentary gas pump for people who drive Honda CRX's that get 50 mpgs, better than the Prius, etc.
