A contributing factor might be that there were tons of people who wanted to avoid taking a shuttle bus to fairfax fair and so parked at fairfax corner. I liked that they parked a couple of tow trucks at the entrances to give people the idea that they might be towed

VDOT was erecting a big-ass sign on the parkway heading north just after Burke Centre Parkway. It says Fairfax County Parkway: Now 286, Old 7100. The sign must be 12 feet on each side! What a waste of money! Why not just put New 286 signs above the 7100 signs which already exist?

Hey if my transmission fell out and Mike Brooks will come to my car and put in a new one, sounds better than getting a tow to the dealership and paying 4 grand for a new one and tow.

Yes coal is dirty and bad for the environment. BUT It is cheap and we have a lot of it here in the US. The environmentalists block any effort to build or improve nuclear power plants and so the only other way to generate the huge amounts of electricity we use cheaply is to use coal. Yes people will say we could use renewable energy like wind power or hydroelectric power, but there arent any bi

Tear down the fucking senior center/church and build a cloverleaf TODAY. Close the light at the soccer fields and post a sign telling people to go up to westfields blvd and turn around. Then traffic will be good to go until I-66, where a lot of people get off anyway. Raise the speed limit to 65 Do all this on top of extending 28 across the potomac to I-270 and DC's traffic will no longer be

I would pay 5 dollars to cross such a bridge. 10 dollars if there were no exits between it and I-270 and the speed limit was 65

Why doesn't Fairfax city charge GMU $500 for every fire alarm and $5,000 for every false alarm in a dorm? That should line their pockets a little better.

I saw a picture of a few people standing on the ROOF of the observation tower at the Udvar-Hazy center. What is this crap? BTW, they didn't 'scrub' the first landing, it was planned to fly over the airport before heading to DC. Perhaps they shouldn't have, becuase the T-38 ended up having a fuel emergency after 4 hours 10 minutes of flight time.
