More Efficient FFX Parking - Compact Cars First in Lots

We need to encourage more efficient parking in Fairfax county parking lots. In order to fit more cars closer to buildings and decrease "line over park." Parking lots in Fairfax county should be designed with compact car parking closer to the store or source, thus allowing more cars in a smaller area.

By including more cars in a small parking area closer to the source that lot can handle more cars quicker by providing more people with a shorter distances to and from the store.

Simple economics.

The order for lots:

1) Compact and small cars
2) Mid size cars
3) Work trucks(Van) and large pickups
4) Buses and over four axles

simple economcs, sure

but this is Fairfax.........economics arent that simple.

For example, if yr client base is more into 5-series and Tahoes..............see where I'm going with this?

Also, the ex-Major in the TL is prolly gonna spend more dinero than minimum-wage rolling in the Focus. I'm just saying that it's more com-pluh-ma-cated than just the size of the car, yo........

What's "line over park"? Is that when some ape in his F150 Monkeymobile can't fit in between the lines? Or is that "park over line"?

I drive a 745i - I'm too rich to have to walk that far.

White people in expensive cars should get to park closest, each taking two spots. After that, poor white people each using two spots. Spics have to park three cars in one spot, just like they crowd multiple families in single family homes. Nigs don't need to park since they all ride the buses.

I'm white with a Lexus, so I can just pull up to the front door and leave it there.

Problem solved.

Best idea posted so far. I am also white, and drive a Jaguar.

Everyone in favor of this rule say "aye!"

Agreed, park in the loading zone since you are only going in to get a few things and will be right back

Lots of good comments on here about having the people who are likely to spend the most money being allowed to park closest.

But, getting to the OP's original thoughts--ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING ME?

If you line a parking lot for compact spaces up close, and then larger spaces further away, you will get more "line over park" (or, as one responder notes "park over line") problems than possibly imaginable. What makes you think that the drivers of SUVs, 7-series, F-150 (and up), etc., are going to park further away just because the spaces are larger? They are mostly going to park in the compact spaces, provided that two adjacent spaces are open, such that they effectively occupy two of those spaces.

+1 for what everybody else said. Stupid idea. Instead let's ban people from backing into spaces. I was almost hit twice last week from idiot drivers, both happened to be women, who were attempting to back into parking spaces. It saves them no time as backing in takes them longer than it would to backlit like a normal person. They were in compact cars.
