I just recently switched from having a high cable bill to getting all my stuff OTA and online. First of all you are going to need to put an antenna on the roof. No amount of bossing a little indoor antenna is going to get you a signal. Put an antenna on the roof and you are golden. Its not hard. Everything is at radio shack; even the big antennas. They keep them in the back so ask for them. Ge

Circuit City is already gone. What you are seeing is a liquidation company that has moved into that space temporarily. "Liquidation" companies prey on people who fall for signs declaring 50% off when really its the same price or even more than it was before closing. All the stuff in the warehouses would have been sold off long ago to big buyers or just flat out returned to the manufacturer since

Don't waste your money. Have a BBQ. Seriously. $75 per person is not reasonable. You shouldn't even be spending that on the reception per person.

I've gotten the Arlington FCU one twice in the last week. The car warranty stuff has to stop. I can't believe how many calls and how much mail I get for those. Also, I seem to get random spanish recordings. No idea what they are saying. They are probably calling about car warranties. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if you call the "ATM deactivation" number and get a car warranty recording. Any v

The lower right hand corner now says the imagery is copyright Commonwealth of VA, I think that's new. I guess they got the images from the state.

Unless you have a specific reason to go to a pediatrician (like Mrs K) take your kids to a GP starting day one out of the hospital. Preferably use the same GP you and your husband use. You will get better treatment as well as making life logistically easier when everyone in the family gets sick. I've always felt we have gotten better treatment because it is a break from their regular routine wh

Is the guy who owned pink guitarz still around? It was a small shop at the corner of 28 and 29 when it was just an intersection with a light.

No law against it and also no requirement to register. Just give it to her. This changes if she is a resident of another state.

So FIOS is finally here. I've been waiting forever. Called them about the $99/mo. inte/tv/phone bundle. They said you need a box for each tv. I thought cable ready would work, but confirmed elsewhere they have (or are in the process of) cut the analog RF transmission. On top that the only unencrypted QAM transmission is the local stations. $10/mo. for each HD box $7/mo for each SD box +$10/mo

Someone who went to the open house posted the pricing sheet on one of the sites linked in the above post. Yes, 75k is for the founders membership. The sportsman initiation fee is $5,000 and I think ~150/mo IIRC. You don't get very much with that level

Depending on the age/strength of your mother I doubt a semiauto is in order. Get her a revolver. Less to maintain and go wrong. Also, the slide on a 36 does not get easier to pull back as you age especially if woken in the middle of the night.
