If Circuit City is being liquidated, why are they shipping more stuff into the stores today?

I was getting at the Starbucks adjacent to the Circuit City... a couple of big
trucks(40 or 50 feet long?) pulled up and unloaded a sh*tload of merchandise.(pardon my French)

Basically, Circuit City (actually the liquidation firm) knows that they can actually make MORE money now than during regular business. People flock to liquidations sales like moths to a flame without exercising any due diligence regarding price comparison.

These articles shed some light on the topic:

Circuit City is already gone.
What you are seeing is a liquidation company that has moved into that space temporarily.
"Liquidation" companies prey on people who fall for signs declaring 50% off when really its the same price or even more than it was before closing.

All the stuff in the warehouses would have been sold off long ago to big buyers or just flat out returned to the manufacturer since CC couldn't pay the bill for it.

The liquidation company is just as likely bringing in new product because they are making bank selling it at inflated prices.

Has anyone seen that furniture company who usually advertises on those POS vehicles or people holding signs around Fair Lakes area? It ALWAYS says going out of business/liquidation, and has said that for the 2+ years they've been "claiming" to go out of business. Lame marketing and dumbasses fall for it.

There is a furniture store near my house that has been "going out of business" for two years now.

Hello. I agree that there are often problems with different companies that make the transportation of goods and it is difficult to find a contractor who will help you with the delivery of products to your stores. I order goods from Russia and it was difficult for me to organize these processes. Helped me a lot https://credo-trans.com/what-does-exw-stand-for-in-shipping/ . Here I found help with the delivery of goods from Russia.
