I don't get why boats are so unpopular in Reston as opposed to other middle class residential communities. Why is tennis in and boating out in Reston? I guess boats would be ok in Annapolis or say Louisa Virginia. It's hard to find a place to park a semi. My brother drives and the only place we could find for him to park so he could visit was out RT 50 among some dump trucks and by Walmart. We w

Describing them selves as refugees from the Reston Association's command and control approach to the most minute aspects of property ownership Ron and Jan Shubert are dismayed to learn about the formation of the Alliance for Henson's future. They write in the current Fairfax County Times. They point out that two of the Alliance members, Don and his wife Chris Grifin don't even live in Herndon a

184. Isaiah
Isiah is considered one of the major prophets of the Old Testament. Much of Isaiah rambles through prophecies about kingdoms facing Judah and some messianic or end times but it's when it gets to chapters 24, 25, and 26 Isaiah gets to the heart of the matter. In verse 24:23 Then the moon will be disgraced And the sun ashamed; This confirms many other scriptures about the diminishing of

How about a black powder pistol? I was looking through a Cabellas catalogue and there are a ole variety of rifels, shotguns and pistols just you have to learn to use black powder. It'll still protect and you can get one through the mail with no permit or security check.

It is ironic that the high school that has struggled so hard for recognition of it's significance in the recent bitter boundary redistricting fight has because of it's outstanding band program been selected to perform at Carnegie Hall this Spring. And how significant that Reston was founded by a man that once owned Carnegie hall and considered wrecking it and making a parking lot out of the l

Did you read the front page story in today's Washington Post? Well it seems that Obama is keeping some of the same people running things? Well could it be, I'll just bet they are all members in good standing of the same club , a group or council concerned with foreign relations. Just like Obama and .....Bush!!!

I have found that old boom boxes, radios, portable CD players can often be brought back to working condition merely by tapping on them! You should tap at first lightly then a bit harder in all six directions: front, back, right side left side, top and then bottom. Often it is very succesful when you may have thought that all hope is lost! Recently I taped on an old Sony Watchman a small TV we ke

The March 2006 National Academy of Sciences/National Research Council identifies fluoride as a potential hormone disruptor that may effect normal thyroid function. The NAS/NRC report also cites concern about the potential of fluoride to lower IQ and notes that the "constistency or results appears significant enough to warrant additional research on the effects of fluoride on intelligence." I had been thinking about the wisdom of Florida since I learned it is the principal ingredient in Prozac. Why the push to have it in the water supply? If you think it's good for teath it's in almost all toothpaste. Here's a article that questions the health benifits: What do you get when you take a toxic chemical byproduct of the fertilizer processing industry and dump it into the public water

There's another guy who posted recently boasting of his six figure income. I suppose it's better then boasting of manly parts. I don't know if it resulted in any liaisons. But whatever works as they say.

Ralf Nader was not ignorant about Obana's race. I don't understand. It is not a inaccurate interpretation of Nader's anti corrupt corporate agenda. He was trying to achieve a kind of hip talk that would communicate powerfully.

Oh it was recorded in 1985 by a KGB defector but I believe the same techniques were used by Nazies. Ron Paul warned against facism. A good part of the Globalist adgenda is Nazi as revealed by the recent book by Jim Mars, The Forth Reich

Exposure to true information does not matter anymore For those of you who have not seen it, I would like to share this video link with you. In it, an ex KGB agent discusses how the KGB destroys a society through ideological subversion and de-moralization. The interview was given in the 1980's but is more relevant than ever given recent election results. 12 October 2008: 1985 Interview with

First of all he acknowledges Obama as the first Elected Black president which is the focus of his answer. Bush, Kerry or Gore are not black nor are they elected president. He was trying to put together a kind of alliteration phrase that communicated the tough question and in it a hope or encouragement toward a positive direction.

Is it smart of the US to stick it to Russia every chanch it gets. Like how would we feel if Russia made an ally of a Carabean island right off OUR shore? Why can't there be some acknowledgement of thier sphere of influence?

This is Naders response when asked about President ellect Obama http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibsP6XN2dIo Your response is(trying to think of what you might say): 1-He's right to ask that question we really expect more from Obama a change if you will dispite that Obama has a background of following the coorprate line. 2-Nader is just another right wing bigot and bitter because he lost an

I was in my favorite Discount beverage store over on 50 to get my favorite Moosehead beer which for some reason has disappeared from the shelves of local groceries. It's a Sunday evening and the place is crowded. I'm getting my beer and I'm noticing that a lot of the customers are just really milling around. Pretending To shop but not really buying anything. So I ask the clerk what's the bi

I have had the habit of looking down. I have found money and I have avoided in steeping in dog poop. But lately I'm seeing a lot of surround tree grids not being modified in thier break away sections. Trees in a paved setting are often planted with two surround sections that have break away parts so that the grid can be broken away as the tree grows. Unfortunately no one is breaking them away

Bush has been bad but Obama will be worse. He is just so far to the left, much further then most people who are for him are. He wants to redistribute the wealth. McCain is the lesser of two evils in my mind. Sometimes you just have to make that kind of choice.
