After reading these threads and doing my own research, which included a personal vist to The Lamb Center, I have the following to report:

The Lamb Center is a clean, well kept establishment. You can walk in and get a hot meal, (food smelled ok) shower, or do laundry. There is mail, message, telephone and computer services. You can get a haircut. The Lamb Center is a base of operations for medical, mental health, and addiction services. There is medical,dental, and optical referrals, and prescription aide available. There is even Social Security pension/disability and Tax preparation assistance.Not to mention ID card and document recovery, Metro tokens and cards.Also, resume help and court appearances on behalf of "guests". Henry Marks,Patti Brown,and Dave Larrabee were all engaging , helpful and answered all of my questions.
I also noticed that almost none of the "guests" seemed to be anything like the ungrateful chronic complainers that post here with complaints. They were people being assisted, and seemed grateful for the help.

Pity that the only comments we see here are from nasty ingrates who wouldn't be satisfied if Jesus himself walked across water in front of them.

I'm more than happy to help out TLC and FACETS. These are community based programs that have assisted some of our fellow neighbors in basic needs. I would rather donate money here, than just tossing it to some far away organizations. At least here there's a chance to help. There won't be one hundred percent success, but at least a few will get a much needed boost.

Actually, you may be right. I do have a history of use of LSD, peyote, mescaline, and psylocibin.
But I have a job, I have a home and a car. I don't have to go
