I personally toured the facility. The staff is caring and attentive.The place is sparkling clean, and lunch smelled pretty good.
I talked to the director,John MacPherson, Director of Operations, Dave Larrabee,Asst Director/ Employment Counselor, Patti Brown,and Asst Director/Counselor, Henry Marks. They're totally dedicated.

I now make a yearly contribution. This isn't like the United Way. You see your donations at work and they really help folks.

The people I saw using the facilities seemed happy with what was going on.

So don't believe for a second, these ungrateful , demented douchebags that complain about The Lamb Center.

If you don't believe me, tour the facility yourself. These folks are as close to Angels as you'll ever see on earth.

Next is the exuberant RENT that is paid out to the actual owner of the property with the additional major bulk of the donations outside of the very generous payroll the TLC 'staff' is being paid so generously with, that is also being used as a CONfigured tax right off. (called "tax deffered" in real estate tax terms) The owner is obviously in serious disconcern, due to the serious profit being raped out of the operation all together, with the seriously negative effect the TLC has on the entire surrounding business and private community's.
It is, to any slightly knowledgeable person of the way an 'establishment' like this is operated, that it is totally corrupt and hell bent-sent.
It's very existence, combined especially with the managerial practices already finely detailed in this thread, is simply only self-serving to these ones spoken about here, at best.

As the second coming of Christ. Nope, I am not the son of God, nor am I anything close to having anything close to perfect or even decent character. I am an imperfect person, a sinner, and someone who just does the best that they can, regardless if the circumstances are easy or otherwise.

As for the stupid idot mentality, my IQ is in the average range, and I am a college graduate. True, I did not go to Harvard or Yale, maybe you did, but I am a man who simply works hard to pay the mortgage, the car notes, and take care of my family.

Which is what all of us should be doing. That's what places like the Lamb Center and others do. Are most going to fail, that utilize their services? Of course. However, failure is a common occurence regardless of what we do, and also how we learn. Mistakes. Each of us have made them, and the people at the Lamb Center, Facets, or other places that cater to vulnerable citizens, may only have a few success stories. Yet, those few are better than NONE.

NIMBY FUCK. Interesting. I do not know whether the Lamb Center is great, but I don't think its terrible. There are worse places out there. For instance, I would have an issue if they built a nuclear reactor or a methadone clinic, next to where I live. Yet for the vast majority of Lamb Center guests, they are harmless folks. Is it up for me to judge them? Nope. That rests with a far higher power. That's right God.

I feel sorry for you. Whatever happened, I pray that you find help, and can find compassion in your heart, instead of constant hatred and anger that seems to be misplaced. Its your right to feel this way, and write posts such as this, but it just seems counterproductive. I'm sure the Lamb Center is managed by fine folks, as they have numerous congregations and other organizations supporting them. That strongly suggests credibility, of which you are lacking.

I think it would behoove you, to perhaps read the Bible, especially considering that it is Lent. You have now motivated me. Thank you for that, as I am going to volunteer at the Lamb Center, and take pictures and provide them here, to show an honest and open version of what they are doing.
