I think I now hope the Lamb Center, does not email me back. Last week I offered them a chance, as I did visit the facility, and obviously did not interrupt prayer time, to talk about what they do. Two emails were sent. They have not been replied to, and I'm thankful for that. I'm really trying to get down to the core of what the Lamb Center is, who it helps, actually have a big heart and am willing to take a completely honest approach to what's going on, but "that core" frankly now scares the shit out of me. And that takes a lot, but this is without a doubt the craziest ramblings I've ever seen. Nothing comes close to this. Good luck volunteers!

Just walked in the door, another productive day at work and elsewhere. Anyhow, I have received an email from John McPherson, he is the Executive Director of the Lamb Center. Per as I wrote earlier, I did visit the facility last week. It did take two emails to get to him, for whatever reason, but he has now responded. I have found his emails to be open, and straightforward, and I am scheduled to meet him next Tuesday.

As I wrote after one post, I seriously thought about not doing this, but his email made this happen. I will be forthright with any questions and answers I have, and would like anyone here,if they have any questions about the TLC or anything it does, to put them down here. I will ask them, no matter how "far fetched" I might find them, because this is not about me, but rather the Lamb Center and what it does or does not do.

As I have written before, I am not sure if the Lamb Center is good, bad, or indifferent. Some of the posts have had me skeptical, others have had me scratching my head, some have frankly scared the shit out of me. Yet, what it boils down to, was my visit there already was interesting, as I did my best to report accurately what I saw that day. This article will be the same.

So please, feel free to put any questions here that you have for James and his staff at the Lamb Center, and I will also try to get some better pictures than just the program, to show what the center looks like, and maybe answer some questions and commentary, that I may or may not agree with that have been posted on this forum. Thanks peeps.

Okay, this has really gone further than I ever expected it to. So with that in mind, I've got an interview with the TLC set up. Please do not be offended if your questions aren't answered on the first visit, there are just so many, but I promise through email, and further visits, to ask them. I will be impartial, and also note any biases.


I now have a more open mind. Originally I was completely against the Lamb Center. Now I'm not so sure. I am a Christian, but I am not sure if I am a good one. In fact, I'm a serious screw up and have made so many mistakes in the past, present, and am trying not to in the future. The responses of Lamb Center staff will be posted here sometime after Tuesday.

Thank you for the questions. Thank you for suggestions, and for also your passion. It is obvious that there seems to be either a strong for or a strong against the Lamb Center. I'm going to find common ground, and look at it independently as possible. Obviously I am not a journalist, just a regular guy, who is not afraid to ask questions, dig, and also visit homeless residents and others in political power or positions of influence if necessary.

I am going to continue to monitor this until by meeting with John McPherson, and try as much as possible to ask questions, and of course provide fair answers, verbatim from him. Obviously, as not to tilt the questions or provide him what they are going to be, I'm not going to publicly comment on what they will be, so as not to give him a chance to know exactly what is going to be asked. So far he has been very respectful, and I shall be also. I have over thirty years of living in the city, and will maintain a positive attitude, unless turned in another direction, and then there of course will be a change if necessary.

That is probably not going to be. In fact, I'm not sure where this is going to lead. I want the truth, and nothing but it. Its probably not going to satisfy everyone. Some people are going to be happy, angry, or indifferent still. Yet this issue has been brought up at City Council meetings, here(which is great for the 1st amendment), and places of worship. It encompasses a whole bunch of issues, and its not simply black and white, but very complex, with a lot of webs to tangle through.

With that being said, I promise to do my best. I am not afraid to ask any question, and will note my biases, and also if turned away from something, make that clear. Thanks to the folks today who wrote concerns, and to all who have been involved so far. Its appreciated, thank you, as let's see what the real deal is here, if that is possible. I honestly thought I could write a one or two page article, maybe a piece or two on the blog, and that would be it. You know, I do feel sorry for homeless people, and I do support the TLC. Yet this is without a doubt, the funniest shit I've ever seen. I cannot count the times I've busted out just laughing.
