Eleemosynary institution is exactly what the Lamb Center is. An institution that caters to people that want to be on welfare, not get a job and be productive. All those people that defended the Lamb Center are the ones that are bleeding the system to death. I was homeless at one point in time and went to the Lamb Center for some help with a dental problem just to be pushed aside. Most of the time I was working minimum wage jobs until I could find something better. Every time I went in the I received nothing but shuck and jive talk while the scum that you still see hanging out at the place today are still getting first class treatment. The ruling that the city of Fairfax made was just, I just wonder why the state supreme court decided to hear the case? Most likely it was political. Fat illegal immigrates, illiterate in and out of the penitentiary under class is all that you will find at the Lamb Center. Also my story is typical of a group that is currently employed and have found a way to support are self but at one time had to turn to the services of the Lamb Center. After visiting the place and seeing first hand what was going on figured out that the place is just a venue for the scum of society that is just playing on this Jesus I Found The Light"!

I agree with you whole heartedly. I have seen first hand on how these low life scum abuse the system. I have been to the Lamb Center a few times and had to leave in because of the large amount of worthless trash. Then today you can always tell when that Love Thy World Fellowship is having it church. The DC trash was loaded on the CUE bus cursing up a storm. Plus they were drinking a SIX PACK OF BEER! This is typical of what the Lamb Center attracts. Before I was able to find employment I asked for a lock just to be pushed aside while other jail birds received special treatment. I have to get up every morning in all the elements and go in the woods to get my outfits together so I could go out and find a job. I really was about to clean up at the Lamb Center because it was over run with the Julio and ghetto trash. No that I landed a good government job I hope the staff at the Lamb Center goes straight to hell. Anybody that would walk into the place would wonder what is going on. Greasy fat slobs hanging around the place 24/7. If the people that donate to the place knew the type of trash and how good hard working people get treated in the place, they would stop giving.

Alright, aside from aliens and other b.s., where do the folks that go to the TLC come from? I'm guessing the woods nearby but am not sure, as I was at the Performance bike store today, and noticed a lot of foot traffic from that particular direction.

Also, do they have folks that stay over there(like shelters in D.C.), and also can somebody please tell me where most of the folks are from. Have they all been living in our area for long periods of time, or have they moved in from more economically depressed areas, that have lost a lot of jobs/housing busts, etc.

Okay first, this was written by Alvin Clinton Hicks, a man known for his whining about not getting enough help as others at the lamb center and facets. All he does is complain and make things up about people to talk about them behind their backs like a middle school child. I am the so called chronic alcoholic and addict that he is talking about and oh clint its funny you mention me being an alcoholic when i don't even drink. So together you make $1875 a month? That’s not rich but it’s enough to make ends meet. And this is without having a job. If you both got jobs on top of this, you’d be fine. Why on earth are you going to the Lamb Center, Facets and “flying a sign”?? Sounds like you have some real problems.

This facility is to serve the homeless, not to make a mockery of it. If you don't like it that is alright. Don't support it. However there are more who understand what it is doing, and it has actually been beneficial to both the city and the guests who utilize these services.

This thread genuinely scares the fuckin hell out of me. i cant beleive i went to high school in fairfax near these psycho crack head mooch drug addicts, never going into fairfax for any reason ever again.
