I'm Alan Partridge, starring Steve Coogan. This is, I think, right up there with the British Office as one of the funniest, smartest comedies on TV. It's a little edgier than The Office because Alan Partridge is basically a prototype David Brent, only not as likeable underneath all the self delusion and buffoonery. I think Season 1 is out on DVD.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who loathes this commercial. What's with the shitty drum-machine beat? Is that supposed to be 'street' or something?
