Dude, the Mike O'Meara Show has spawned the most consistently active, enduring thread on FFXU. The posters here have been listening for years. Almost every day, alongside the ball-busting, there is at least one post about something or other that was good or kinda good or kinda funny about the show.

Get a grip. The FFXU TMOS thread is a rare example of a listener-driven discussion thread that originated and has thrived outside of the "official" social media of the show. Do you know how many podcasts would love to even have their balls busted on such an epic scale?

I mean, I don't know either, but I assume a lot.

I'll give ya this: I, too, have my doubts about whether Mike and the boys "deserve" the roasting they get over here. Not because it's too harsh, understand.

For some reason, the phrasing of this is so awkward. It'd be one thing to say, "But what do you do that I DON'T love?" I.e., Amy loves everything Mike does.

This syntax, however, requires us to postulate things Amy might not love, but which Mike might possibly do.

I mean, I guess they're the same, in the end. But for some reason "what don't I love that you do" has the same ring to it as, "Occifer, I'm not so think as you drunk I am."

Anyway. I only caught the story about Fun Oscar today, and I dug it.

I'll give 'em this: the show is funniest when the boys actually are forthcoming, i.e., when they embrace their flaws. Mike's petty jealousy and addictions, Robb's utter geekiness, Oscar's metrosexual douchiness.

But when they're taking politics, Mike's class warfare, superficial liberal outrage is the exact opposite of forthcoming. Feels like it, anyway. Guy built a million dollar career in a medium that celebrated misogyny and mocked political correctness. Robb's trademark shtick is racial insensitivity.
