In fairness, my Wide Open Wednesday call wasn't exactly flawless. They did catch me by surprise by answering the phone, and, just like every goddamn radio caller rube, it took me a sec to realize I was hearing them on the phone, not their delayed banter on UStream. I remember when Marc Ronick did, like, a periodic debriefing show with the interns, that was kinda charming. Marc's always been kinda awkward on the mic, but Jabarie was a little smoother, and Girl 1.0 was kinda cute, and Zoolander was kind of douchey in an Oscar-wannabe way...then they scrubbed it for Certa, who was...I mean...ya wanted to make sure that fucking guy was keeping a safe distance from, like, playgrounds and elementary schools.
