Thank you for posting spreads. Here's how I did picking against your lines

Correctly picked Bishop O'Connell to win and cover.

Correctly Picked Centreville to win. Consistently with my policy, I don't pick against the spread when it's more than 35 points, and this game illustrates why. Centreville was up 43-0 at the half, and should have put up more points against a truly pathetic Woodson team. But I'd guess that the Centreville Coaches decided to give their seconds, thirds, and fourths some playing time (as they should), and that allowed Woodson some garbage time points. The scoreboard will show that Centreville won by "only" 29, but they are really twice that amount of points better than Woodson.

Correctly picked Fairfax to win and cover. Fairfax has feasted on cupcake competition so far. Their program was a shambles not too long ago, so they needed this kind of scheduling to recover. Getting wins is always better than losing, but you still have to wonder how good they really are. We'll find out this week.

Correctly picked West Po to win. No pick against the spread (See commentary on Centreville v. Woodson).

I picked TJ to win and cover, and I blew it as well.

Correctly picked Madison to win and to cover.

Correctly picked West Springfield to win and cover. Oakton is like Fairfax; their program was a shambles not so long ago. It's nice to see them get some wins, but I was skeptical that they could hang with West Springfield. My pick reflects that skepticism, and it paid off for me.

Correctly picked South County to win and to cover.

Correctly picked Lake Braddock to win. I didn't think they would cover, and I got that part wrong. Not sure what's up at South Lakes.

Correctly picked Stone Bridge to win and cover. And thank you for lowering the spread, so that I could pick against the spread (the original was 38 points, which I don't pick against). That allowed me to put two points up on the board.

Correctly picked Chantilly to win and to cover.

Correctly picked Yorktown to win, but I didn't think they would cover, which I got wrong. McLean's football program appeared to be recovering a couple of years ago. I guess that was a mirage.
