Patently false, as the only alcohol related services the Lamb Center provides is Alcohol Rehabilitation Classes. Through several churches and medical providers, they have classes and also provide prescriptions, to help addicts of alcohol and drugs, an opportunity to go clean. Its up to each individual of course, but there have been some success stories. Several formerly homeless individuals are now gainfully employed, and now either pay rent, at properties throughout the Northern Virginia area.

The poster who always complains was issued a trespass notice from the Lamb Center, one of the very few, because he couldn't follow the most elementary of rules that are in place, to provide for a place of safe refuge for all guests. What he fails to mention is that more churches have stepped up to be partners with the Lamb Center, and also more businesses are involved as well. His assertions are laughable, because do you really think college educated professionals from this area, would be increasingly joining in on the efforts at the Lamb Center if what he posts was correct?

It doesn't take a genius, to figure out that he's not the brightest bulb on the block, and while its his right to complain, that's about all that he does. The Lamb Center continues to succeed, while he continues to go in an opposite direction.

Arrogance is not a virtue, but then again slandering and defamation of the Lamb Center for at least 3 years here and elsewhere is. Your assertions cannot be backed up, as you post under multiple user names, and for the record, you have been banned from the Lamb Center, along with quite a few businesses in the City of Fairfax area. You also have had run ins with the law, just like Bill Abell, but the problem is, is that you don't offer anything valuable except constant complaints, lies, and misinformation that's so far from the truth that its laughable.

You are very lucky that the Lamb Center and others, haven't brought you to civil court, where by a preponderance of the evidence, a much lower bar that "guilty beyond a reasonable doubt," is all that is needed. You should be thanking God that this has not happened, but then again, the Lamb Center gave you many chances, as it has to Bill and others. Yes he has had an alcohol problem, thank you for pointing out the obvious. Yet he is not offered beer, wine, spirits, or any type of liquor drink at the Lamb Center, as that's not part of any program.

There's always going to be one bitter person out of hundreds, and after years of yelling, the Lamb Center continues to grow in both the amount of people its served a hot meal, prayed with for success, or led to brighter futures. No I have never been homeless, but after working with the homeless population, I am more grateful than ever for when I was close to being that "one paycheck a person" that I was in at the time. It could happen to anyone, so the TLC has offered help to those recently unemployed, who are trying to find another job, along with providing people who have connections to various fields to find a new career.

Its a shame that you have problems with some of the TLC guests. That's not the responsibility of the Lamb Center, but rather that's just a reflection of your character, which is lacking in so many directions. Feel free to ramble on about how awful the TLC is, because it doesn't matter, as the TLC and FACETS continue to gain in strength, both with congregations and groups involved, as well as the amount of people who get extra services that are very basic in nature.

Just like you change the names in here, you lie about not being banned, along with quite an incredible record of bad behavior and criminal charges. You complain constantly about one person, and for years have been badmouthing the TLC. That is your right, although you are on a slippery slope, with regards to defamation. That is not protected speech, and subject to court action, if you want to continue by all means feel free, as the compensation from a civil court decision involving you would probably be worth $1 and the alcohol you carry around.

The alcohol addiction that Bill has, and others, is a disease. He has been picked up many times by the authorities, for drunk in public, or interdiction of a person with alcohol. There's no denying that, but once he's paid his debt to society, he's freed and you could blame the criminal justice system more than any well established charity that helps the homeless. Since you used to be able to come to the TLC, and didn't follow the basic guidelines that are very simple to follow, feel free to continue to bash it non stop, because if it didn't exist, your fellow homeless folks would suffer even more than they do already.

The fact of the matter is no one cares about the homeless, with the exception of the Lamb Center, Facets, the congregations and businesses that are trying to help those in need, with just simple items, such as clothing, blankets, food, water, and prayer. Perhaps you should be grateful for that, because as you know, the Lamb Center cares far more, than the vast majority of Fairfax County residents. The lamb center is part of the TRURO CHURCH. So, the TRURO CHURCH would be the one suing for defamation. That will look real good in the local media! News channel 8! Washington Post! Also the lamb center might find itself in legal trouble of there own. They put people's personal problems on their website and facebook page. They even put one person's medical cancer battle on facebook. That is against federal law, taking someone's medical information and publically distributing it. These creeps defame people constantly by badmouthing them to Social Services. Intruding into people's personal lives like this. Call it the SNITCHATORIUM. They have this system going where everyone is "telling" on everyone else. I even heard they keep files on the guests. Bill Abell has more than just a drinking problem.
