Well, it might not last all that long, but for now, it's another beautiful, bright, clean morning out here in the fabulous Sweet Spot where mostly just the beautiful, intelligent, and wealthy people are able to live. We've got the mercury at an even 50 degrees just now and a bright sun shining down from mostly clear blue skies. With almost no wind, it was a cool but pleasant trip down and back to retrieve the morning paper, a thing that's been taken care of already since nasty clouds will be rolling in soon, and we should have a lovely afternoon of rain coming up followed by more rain overnight. Tomorrow night will see freeze warnings out there, so that won't be good either. Fortunately, yesterday gave us yet another gorgeous afternoon, one that drew me out to sit for a spell watching the birds flit in and out to visit the several feeders. Hopefully, we'll be back to those sorts of conditions again soon, but it doesn't look like it will happen today.
Meanwhile, it seems that President Ding Dong has been seeking to manipulate pandemic data in hopes of luring more and more states into 'opening up' and perhaps helping to spur the economy and rebuild his fast-fading chances of being re-elected. As horrible as he has otherwise been, the actual severity of the pandemic and the worst ever collapse of the economy are just more logs on the fire, but right-wing media and other agents of mind control have enslaved some big numbers in the cause of evil. Hopefully, those with more snese than that will win out here in the end.
In other news, there's nothing new out there to report on. Manfred is still a stooge, and there is still no rational plan or proposal for somehow saving the 2020 season. Sad, but true,
The same could be said of course for all the faults that weigh down the frauds and fools of Falls Church City. As bad as it goes over there, you could help make things a little better by buying one of these classy “Falls Church Better Together” t-shirts, just like the ones that FCC elected and appointed folks have been wearing at official functions and events this week. The proceeds go to some worthwhile area support groups and shirts can be purchased in many sizes for $28 at --
