I wonder if this whole tragedy could have been avoided if FCPS hadn't just watered down their grading scale to appease all the whiny parents.

I'm sure that he was so heartbroken over the FCPS grading scale that he decided to go well over 100 mph on a residential road, after drinking, on the one night each year that even those with a 70 IQ know to be just a little bit extra careful on the roads.

There's a cop under investigation for Boo's death? That would be funny. Boo was obviously driving at an excessive speed, hopped a median smashed through two fences and a tree, and slammed into a house hard enough to knock the house off of it's foundation.

I wonder how this amazingly sinister cop was able to create such a circumstance.

I bet he also figured out a way to get Boo intoxicated without Boo's awareness.

I hydroplaned my car at about 65mph, spun it around 3 times and smacked head on into a jersey barrier on the beltway on the New Hampshire overpass. The front end smashed in to just about the alternator and belts. I walked away.

To really fuck a car up, you have to be doing well over 80 miles an hour. And to hit obstructions like a curb/media, a tree and a pair of fences, that has to be in excess of 90 to 100 miles per hour.

I spent enough time in Germany to see the difference between a car going 50 and a car going well over 100.

Granted, a head on between two cars going around 50mph can do some serious damage, but I've been in head ons where both cars were doing 35 to 40, and even that didn't cause nearly as much damage. Unless they were volvos, or honda civics, in which case both cars looked like someone stepped on two beer cans.

Boo was a nice guy. He has a great smile. He helped everyone he ever met.

He got released by the county magistrate just hours earlier, and when he got back to his section-8 housing, he took the keys to his nieces' car so he could drive cautiously and considerately to Ned Devines to make sure that all of his "peeps" would have a safe ride home.

I think it was some fairfax county cop who made him drive well over 100 mph and the cop might have even shot out one of his tires, and caused him to jump the median, smash through a tree and two fences, and bust some innocent families foundation. That's because the cops have been harassing Boo since he was in his mother's womb. They wanted to see him die. In fact, when the accident happened, they somehow convinced law abiding and decent people to ignore the dying black guy moaning and groaning in their backyard. They were able to talk decent god fearing family people to just wait 10 hours for the guy to die. The special unit of Fairfax County Police that deals with killing criminals convinced family men and even EMTs that it was a better idea to let him bleed out and die, right under their bedroom windows.


It's always a case of the man keeping us down, isn't it?

So everyone is aware, I do not know Joseph Taylor nor do I know any of his friends, however I'm a neighbor to the accident. I live 5 homes from where the accident happened and the vehicle crashed into the (unoccupied home of a Herndon Police officer)??? Hmmmm.... Can you say " I need a witness" Oooops I fucked up??

Maybe Joseph's Taylor's life way taken too soon, but maybe it was his time to go home with GOD. Perhaps what we call "karma" really happened here, the police that probably don't like him because he assaulted more than a few of them, are now under investigation to bring justice for all. What if that was my 3 year old Amanda and I ??? Just to make myself clear I'm not insinuating that the police were aware that he was in the car and ignored it, NO WAY!!! Too many witnesses that could potentially see something . Is it possible under different circumstances, Of course. they are people with feelings,and spite. They bleed like we bleed. god works in mysterious ways, you will pay for anything you do. One way or another, maybe not today or tomorrow or even under the same circumstances, but its inevitable you will pay!!!

There is no way the police would have found the car and left the occupant in it for a few hours because they don't like the guy.

It is, possible, though, that the guy who called them said "another car just ran into my fence and took off." Since the caller didn't report a car still sitting there, and he has had his fence knocked down a couple times before, the cops didn't make it a priority. So they come by a couple hours later, drive down Dranesville and see the hole in the fence, and go around the front of the house where it is safe to park the car, talk to the homeowner (if they did that) and write up the report.

I doubt the cops parked their car on Dranesville road in the dark at the same time all the drunks are driving home from the bars. I know the cops have lights on their car to alert drivers, but that wouldn't stop the drunks from running into them Just imagine what would have happened if some drunk came around the corner too fast and slammed into a cop car parked in the middle of Dranesville while 2 officers sit in the car to write the report. I doubt they want that, so they pulled around to the front of the house.

It's cold, it's dark, they have a very high volume of calls because it's new year's eve... And the call they were dispatched to stated that a car had run into the fence and fled. So why get out of the car and walk around the back yard?

Sure they've got flashlights. But they probably didn't bother. A slow driveby to see the hole in the fence, no tire marks (NO TIRE MARKS!) and keep driving around the corner. Write up the report so the insurance company will replace the fence, and then off to a different call they have of a drunk and disorderly person peeing inside a bar.

It all makes perfect sense to me. Sure the cops missed the car sitting there, and I see how they would have missed it. It doesn't make it OK, but it explains it. And it shows how the cops DID NOT FIND BOO AND LEAVE HIM TO DIE BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T LIKE HIM!

There was only 1 hole in the wooden fence along Dranesville Rd caused by this accident. The homeowner advised me that the second hole was made by Fairfax County Fire Dept and was used to remove the vehicle. Get your facts right

Then how did the car go through one fence, but not leave a whole in the second fence (the fence that seperated the two houses). Did the car go over the fence?
If there was a whole in the second fence I don't see how they could have missed it. The houses are very close together.

The fence was not whole if there was a hole in it.

I did check it out. I assumed they had taken the fence down after the accident. Now I find it harder to believe that they could not see a crashed car 30 to 60 feet away. Ok, I guess it was "dark" out. But give me a break, are those cops idiots or what. And how often is it so pitch black that you cannot see anything at all.

Did the results of the autopsy come back yet? Are you guy's sure he was drinking and driving or under any influence? I think we need facts before we judge anyone! A criminal background also does not justify who and person is! Everyone makes mistakes. Family and Friends who knew Joseph "Boo" Taylor are all mourning and very upset at the comments left about a man who has tragically died! Regardless if he did it to himself or if it was an accident or the Officers fault! God does not like ugly and the comments left about him are all ugly! Maybe when Boo was a child, if his parents just would have at least raised him properly, he wouldn't have turned out to be a common criminal who ended his life prematurely because of doing something extremely stupid.

But since his loved ones are seeking to blame others for this incident, I guess we couldn't have expected much more from the way he was raised.

it is a shame that a man had to die, but society is better off without people like boo taylor.... people close to him should just be thankful that he had spent as much time on this earth as he did. As he lived a lifestyle that he probably should not have lived so long. The tax payers have one less piece of s they have to pay for while being housed in the fairfax jail. so maybe it will help with the deficit the county is facing
