The "you" was meant to be general. And this is exactly how the world works: it's not the outcome, it's the pain in the process.

Almost 30 yrs ago, I joined as a 2nd generation following my dad. In those days, if you were a woman, you must be a 'Slut' or a 'Dyke'. If you put out to even 1 person, you were a Slut. If you put out to no one, you were a Dyke. So glad to see the tradition is still reigning strong there. The other thing I watched was men who cheated on thier wives on a regular basis, which was fine. They were 'Conquerors'.

Luckily, I also had the privilege of watching this attitude change over the next 5 yrs.

I find this thread incredibly saddening, but coming from the fire service, not surprising.

In every sector of every business, you have bad people. The people making the posts about these woman need to be removed from service involving public. What you choose to say to someone in private with no one else around is bad enough, but when you take it to a forum that anyone can read and use hurtful language towards a gender, a race, a sexual orientation, etc then public service is not a place for you to be.

You are seriously FUCKED IN THE HEAD if you can justify this by claiming the things said about her are true. It is completely irrelevant whether they are true or not. This woman put her life at risk to serve her community as a firefighter. How was she rewarded for her selfless act by her peers? By having her FULL NAME posted online, along with her place of employment and her alleged sexual activities posted for all the world to see. All it takes is one quick google search of her name, and this all came up.

Everyone who posted on here about her or any other person and their sexual activities deserves to rot in hell. I hope you get identified by an internal investigation, fired, and sued for every penny you have.
