The problem with Romney was that he had difficulty speaking about his own convictions and positions -- even disavowing things he said that were on video tape of him saying. People rightly called Romney a liar when he ran ads on TV saying that Chrysler was going to close all of its factories and ship all their jobs to China. It used to be the Republicans who were all for immigration (illegal and legal) because it depresses wages and the Democrats, backed by unions were anti-immigration. You have to remember that it was George W Bush who was the last president to push for comprehensive immigration reform. He thought he could get it because the union

You need to spend some time living in a city I guess. It annoys the hell out of me every time I see someone give a "homeless" person a hand out on the street. They are well-meaning, but they are not helping. In fact they are encouraging bad behavior. Rudy Giuliani cleaned up New York by starting the programs that Bloomberg runs now. Up until that time, NYC just let things run wild on the streets

Part of the problem with making a movie from a book is that its difficult to shrink down the plot to less than 2 hours and still have some substance. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is one of the few movies in recent memory that did justice to the books.

If you move to Japan you'll get to experience what racism feels like first hand. Japanese aren't overly fond of Gaijin -- particularly those who don't (or can't) learn to speak Japanese. Have fun.

The problem is that the guy was a Republican with impeccable credentials, yet he was the head of the CIA which pretty much had responsibility for whatever was going on in Benghazi. If you watch Fox News, they don't even know how to report this story. This has happened too soon. All of the writers are still trying to find excuses as to why Mitt Romney and a couple billion dollars couldn't beat su

The Norwegian convicted of the massacre of 77 people last year has said he is being held in "inhumane" conditions. Anders Behring Breivik complained in a letter to the prison service that his coffee is served cold, he does not have enough butter for his bread, and he is not allowed moisturiser. Breivik is serving a minimum 21-year sentence for the bombings and shootings in Oslo and Utoeya islan
