I see that these are rage zombies, which is different than the book, where they are slow zombies.

Looks like they only used the title of the book for a zombie movie. Great book. This looks like it has potential.

Something I noticed, the film looks like a CGI fest. Looks like close up shots of the zombies are made with actors, the shots with the zombies scaling the walls or running through the streets are all made with unconvincing CGI.
Sort of like the Will Smith movie I Am Legend.

Part of the problem with making a movie from a book is that its difficult to shrink down the plot to less than 2 hours and still have some substance.
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is one of the few movies in recent memory that did justice to the books.

Yep, but 3 lengthy books. Its pretty amazing how well Jackson kept to the storyline.
