Having been in the Navy I will have to say this: "...squids feed on lower forms of marine life..." But in reality, Marines are some of the best troops in the US military. Some folks here have no understanding of what being proud of your country actually means, so don't worry too much about their comments.

This is why the records of juveniles are not released. Man, folks are getting pretty desperate now... Here, I will post a link to a site for your guys so you can try and find some more salacious gossip to post in hopes that it will get traction: http://www.236.com/news/2008/09/05/were_going_with_the_rumor_trac_8767.php I also like the title to this article, "We're going with the rumor: Track P

Um, if you actually used reading comprehension, you would see that she pulled the tape to REVIEW it, and while doing so, found that Sarah Palin was NOT a member. She does not state that she pulled them off the site. As far as the governor doing a DVD - I am sure we can see that in many organizations across the board for governors and other legislators. How about we go back and see what kind of c

What, are you like 8 or something? You obviously have a problem with spelling, and I have yet to see where you post anything more interesting than people are liars, or something that most 8 year olds shouldn't say, even in private. I think I will trust their judgment over yours today...

If you are going to paraphrase an analysis, you should at least link to the entire analysis rather than just your little by phrase you want to push... http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/UploadedPDF/411750_updated_candidates_summary.pdf If you read the entire analysis, neither plan will allow for balancing the budget unless significant cuts are made. So while ANOTHER tax cut might be nice, it really

No well, since he can't get anyone to bite on it in this thread he is posting it everywhere. The resume of the guy who posts on samefacts.com: http://www.spa.ucla.edu/faculty/vitas/cv_kleiman.pdf He also happens to be a member/contributor to the Center for American Progress founded by Podesta... So anything they post about a republican is suspect in the first place. If you are going to post som

When I said eliteists in DC, I was not talking of any particular party. Also the feeding frenzy for contractors has had a lot more to do with 9/11 and the focus on increased military and preparedness spending than much else. There has definitely been spending on military installations and upgrades, but in recent years that has slowed down a lot.

Wow... look, the Democratic talking points. The guy from the Politico makes it sound like those were the ONLY questions they asked. Now lets see all those same questions get asked of Barrack Obama, and put through as much of a critical strainer as hers have been, and maybe he would have a better leg to stand on. They haven't even come close to taking a critical look at Obama as they should be do

Which is why Sarah Palin would be a better choice than any of them. Period. I am sick of eliteists in DC and on TV trying to tell us how to think. What the Republicans did when they got into power was ridiculous - the spending like there is no tomorrow has got to stop. Just because tax revenues increased does not mean that spending has to increase more. And as much as Barrack is promising tax cu

Actually not a bad list. I may not agree with all of it, but that is ok. I would argue on the NASA point though. Without wars (usually the impetus for some of our fastest leaps in technology), you need to have something that will challenge folks to keep pushing the envelope for moving the bar. Pioneering was one of the biggest ways to keep expanding the horizon, and keeping the spark alive in fo

Yes, I read the stuff where she was trying to have her married quietly. I think I can understand that given the circumstances. The fact is though, her daughter was going to get married before all this came up. I don't see anywhere in this that she somehow hates her daughter, or how the previous postings point out that it is weird that Bristol is holding the baby. Many families the older kids help

Andrew Halcro is an independent that lost in the Alaska Election to Sarah Palin. To say that his opinion, or his blog might be biased is an understatement. If you go back and read through his posts, he has tended to be wrong on many issues he went on about prior to the election. So to suddenly think that he is the font of wisdom on anything Sarah Palin other than losing to her is laughable. Like

Here Newsweek talks about how Sarah Palin is doing so much for Alaska and how she is very pragmatic and postpartisan. http://www.newsweek.com/id/42534/ ... Seems like good qualifications to have when running for public office, and when you are advocating working across the aisle to solve problems. Where has Obama shown the same ability to work across party lines to get things done for anything

No, this is the Obama feel good rally. This is a common problem for the Democrats, and one of the reasons they cannot get any traction on McCain. They advocate against everything that common sense says we should be doing right now, and also insist on increasing social programs at a time when we have record deficits - and just turning off the Iraq spigot will not make up the balance. Also they are

Everyone refers to it as Cat5. Cat6 is really nothing more than well shielded Cat5. Most Cat5e cables will run 1 GB network speeds. But even today, most folks still refer to it as Cat5 due to the lack of real change in anything Cat6. They run Fiber to a termination box, just like they do for almost every other business in the world. Even in common office environments, the fiber only goes to the

Brainwashed. That is a laugh. You can't accept the fact that they actually believe in their country and are proud to belong to something bigger than themselves. There are politicians that are idiots - well most of them in fact - but the folks that volunteer for the military do it for a variety of reasons. Back when I joined it was because I couldn't stand going to college (which was paid for) -
