My problem with hiring illegals is the employer. They hire a guy for 1/4 what he should be paid. They pay them in cash thus no state income taxes are withheld, no social security, no federal taxes. If the employee gets hurt the employer drops him off at the nearest ER when by law the employer should be paying for job related injuries. Even with reduced employee cost I do not see a corresponding

My bad on Frenchy NOT paying. Poor old dude is looking forward to sitting around some early bird special at the old folks home and now he is tied up with child support issues. Awhile back they were wrangling about how to balance the budget and whose jobs were going to be cut. The BOS took the easy way out and just raised taxes. Wasnt that hard at all to balance the budget when you take that approach. Reminds me of jerry connelly a few years ago when they lowered the assessment of the homes and raised the assessment of the land values.
