Wanted to see for myself and took a drive up today. A few $15 minimums at blackjack and roulette but most were $25. $25 at craps and $25 for the other assorted table games, four card poker and let it ride. The poker room wait was about an hour. There seemed to be more tables open now than previously posted on here, guess they are starting to license more dealers.

The line for cashing out chips was probably twenty people long with only one cashier open. To their credit the place has only been open a month and were just approved for table games last December. All that considered and the licensing dealers screwup by the state they arent doing a bad job. I think given more time they will improve. If I have a negative comment it would be that they allow people not gambling to stand at a players space at the tables. This isn't allowed in Vegas or AC, either you are gambling or they ask you to take a step back.

They have a huge potentail market with the population of this area. I heard announcements on the PA for bus departures for Richmond so they are already pulling in beyond the DC area. If run correctly Charles Town could put a large dent in AC's customer base. A one hour drive compared to four is tough to ignore. Plus the only toll to Charles Town is the Greenway.

I'll take a bus ride down there if the hot blonde they used to have on their commercials will be there. Preferably wearing that same black dress.

OP mentioned that they have the bus from richmond to CT. Troll mentioned he is going to take the bus. Do you like sweet tea?
