The son of a good friend dropped out of an FCPS earlier this semester. His folks are upset that he will not graduate with his friends. Mountain View was suggested, but the kid refused to consider it. I was wondering if any posters cared to comment on Mountain View and how it compares to Bryant and Pimmitt Alternative Schools.

If your kid is as screwed up as it sounds, FCPS

If you have at least 60 hours of college credit, sub teach in FCPS. Prince William Schools don't even require that. There are many schools which need subs during the summer. Some even start in early to mid August. Go to www.fcps.edu and follow the prompts. If you get approved to sub, then take the bus driver training program which lasts about four weeks. You get paid to take the classes, ea

GMU cops are very aware of the population they serve. They are vigilant about speeders on campus. Last weekend, I was in front of the AFC speaking to a cop when some dude in a Toyota roared by in the direction of Presidents Park and Sandy Creek. The cop had radar and very politely said, "excuse me," and went after the driver. The officer previously had told me that speeding is quite a problem
