It confuses me why Sadly Lacking Radio guy has beef with FFXU and some of the posters on this thread. From what I've heard of his podcast, he echoes the exact same issues with TMOS expressed on this thread by pretty much all the posters he claims to have problems with.

It's pretty weird though. Listen to Sadly Lacking podcast "Issues with TMOS 2014" from August 2014, and the guy and his partner eviscerate the "Open Mike" book. It's hilarious and most of the comments could be lifted right from the pages of this thread, yet the SLR guy hates FFXU and this thread? I don't think it's like you say, Bubby, because it's not like posters here crap on SLR. Generally the response is no response. I wonder if the guy is just bitter because he thinks FFXU would be all jazzed up to buy this his pay content and nobody really cares. I'd need to think about it more but I don't care and I'm surprised how much time I've thought about it already just to type this. For what it's worth, the episode I mentioned is worth listening to if you've ever wondered just how crappy "Open Mike" is. The excerpts and commentary are pretty good.

Brian from Oakton was close to TMOS. TMOS contacted Brian while they were mounting legal action on FFXU/OWS and brought Brian in on the proceedings, as a two-pronged litigation strategy, which was obviously successful.

I'm not going to defend SLR forever on here, just because that's not what I'm here for. I will say this, though - I get the sense that he used to check this site out, years ago. (edit: and doesn't come here anymore)
Also, his beefs are very personal. He's been mentioned on both TMOS and BOAD, and has dealt with Buzz types in person. I think he should go after Marc because his show sucks, but my sense is that he'd go after Marc because they had a couple of skirmishes IRL.
Please note that he defended Cumia, who is the only individual we discussed with whom he'd had a positive experience with. It isn't a knock, but it makes things make more sense. Me, I'm all about the content. It isn't personal at all.

I don't remember him posting here, but whatever.
Japan: FFXU sometimes takes a long time to load, maybe the guy is impatient and bails too quickly, or he is make an excuse.
His comments echo'ing our comments...Clearly the SLR guy likes radio and I think our comments contain universal truth, so it stands to reason that overlap exists.
I listened to a couple of his shows. Better content than TMOS. I remember Chad taking shit about him years ago, but I didn't care enough to follow thru and actually listen to the SLR cause or response shows to that beef.
My basic thoughts are it sub-par and they're "just a couple of guys", so we can't we do a better job talking smack about TMOS via taking about this page?
His pimping his paid shows annoys me.

Mr. Thickness has all his MD 20/20 flown in by the case from the Oakton Wine Shop. The March 2015 Orange Jubilee is especially nice. According to him, "It has a nice burning mouth feel and a long smooth finish which reminds me of baby vomit. It also numbs and loosens my sphincter which comes in handy when I'm servicing Mike."

The heart of the argument is this - peekza has run with this imaginary Ronick embezzlement and fee diversion scenario so long that some people think it was exposed or alleged on the show.
