Sure, why not? Let's burden the out-of-date system with another 40 miles of track to maintain. Eh..while we are at it, let's double the tolls and build it all above ground to help enhance the already beautiful visual blight.

Anyone know of a tint shop that will put Meep's picture on my back windshield? It's breathtaking.

Funny thing is..all of his albums will start selling again, they'll have some kind of commemorative box set, which in turn will pay off all his debt. Any photo's of Macaulay Culkin crying yet? Please, a moment of silence as I pour out my 40 of jesus juice for MJ tonight.

Yea, somehow I don't think the issue here is that commuters drive down the PA or NJ turnpikes only to be happy that the Va. tolls are cheaper.

I believe so, heard he had a stint in rehab back in the early 80's. I remember my old man getting pissed that they let the "coke head" back on TV to report the news. I thought damn, all that soda, and he gets to be on TV.

Thanks for tip on the "Born Restaurant". Always looking for a new place to eat, and love me some Thai. Second Villa Bella for pizza. Very good. I know this isn't in Fairfax..but close enough. Lost Dog Cafe on Wash Blvd is fantastic. Great selection of beers. Good pizza and great sandwiches. The seating availability is a little on the small side (but they are expanding), so you might have

I wouldn't put Mario's up on a pedestal quite yet. Not a place I would choose to go to while sober. Plenty of good places around if you are willing to drive down to Ballston.

I was a proud recipient of one of these letters. Pretty funny. Like getting a note sent home from the principal. I got a good chuckle out of "reporting" a few of my friends who were by-the-book drivers. They thought it was part of their permanent record. Good times...

Please, show me a road in NoVa that isn't busy. Funny, I wonder if your boss thinks about eliminating 4-5 staff jobs instead of cutting expense costs as a whole. The state determine's the bus routes btw. School administrators don't have to rethink anything except how to deal with self-centered parents and bratty kids. If parents can't get their kids to school on time because they have to ki

You should be fine once you pass Rt. 7 and 123...Especially at that time of the morning. May be some traffic, but, it shouldn't be stop and go under normal conditions.

OP, lack of reporting? What exactly is there to report? That the White House waited over an hour for these parents to get their lil oompa loompas up to DC on time? Pathetic attempt for the parents to blame someone else for them being so late. Nice move on their part on teaching the kids that it is always someone else's fault no matter what happens. Next thing you know, parents will be pushin

Mechanic once told me to put a bottle of rubbing alcohol in a full gas tank. Apparently it helps the engine burn a little hotter, drive it for 30 mins. To be honest, never tried the alcohol method. Don't think I ever will. The driving for 30 mins before emissions does help. It gets the exhaust heated up and some of the extra carbon and other crap out. Don't worry about waiting in line, just

Agreed. I'm sick of the litigation, takes away too much fun for all us. If it's man made, it's going to eff up every once in awhile. I feel bad for anyone who gets burned or injured, but that is a common sense danger that must be considered at these events. On that note, time to go spill some hot McD's coffee in my lap.

I have a factory car alarm..I figure if someone wants something bad enough, no alarm is going to stop them. I've definitely fallen victim to leaving my door unlocked as well. I couldn't tell you a good place other than the requisite Best Buy or Myer-Emco to get a car alarm. I see a car alarm as like radar detector. Neither are fool proof. I wouldn't spend too much.

If maintenance won't fix them, what kind of problems are you talking about? If they are small enough, you could probably google the issue, read some forums and do it yourself. Home maintenance is somewhat basic. Not saying that doing it on your own is legal, but if you aren't changing out an appliance, you should be able to make your own fixes. They won't notice the small stuff.

Didn't one of the Anita's used to be open 24 hrs? I'll throw a vote in for Metro 29 diner and the Philly Cheesesteak Factory in Georgetown. Eh..Malek's in Springfield isn't too bad either. As most food tastes pretty damn good after several adult beverages, I tend to judge the food quality based on the morning after constitutional(s). Mario's and the Merrifield Taco Bell (R.I.P) were two of th
