What an uplifting view of the world you have. Suicide is a selfish and cowardly act. There is nothing positive about ever doing this.

I'm sure the school doesn't need that when creating their budget.

Great place to go for sure. May pay a little more for the labor rate, but they do a great job and are very professional. I've only gone to the Chantilly one, but I'd be willing to guess that you would get the same level of service from any of them.

Maybe it isn't a luxury in the true definition of the word, but playing sports is a choice and, honestly, if you are working, you can afford the $200. I'd gripe about the fee, but, I know I would end up paying it too. Knowin

Parking fees were raised because they are one of the easier, if not easiest, fees to increase without a lot of blowback. Budgets are falling everywhere and are being incredibly squeezed. Although, you do have me intrigued with your thoughts about spending habits of the school board. I've never really suspected that our government officials would even think of misappropriating money. Is it pos

Reminds me when my Grandpa lived in Florida, soon after my grandma died and was in the obituaries, he was inundated with all these new doctor bills. The flood of bills into his mailbox was pretty comical, although it was pretty stressful for him thinking he had all these outstanding medicals bills to pay on top of the whole grieving process. Amazing what people will do for a buck. Gotta believ

Agreed that 50 mph on the parkway is too low, On the flip side of the coin, without seeing any signs, you could safely assume that 55 would be the max limit seeing as how almost all of the interstates are 55 (save a few miles at 60 mph on 66 out in western fairfax). Even then, 68 in a 55 will get you a ticket around here. I try to hold the line at 60 on the parkway and seem to have have faire

Bought a couple of items in a store in Aldie...no sign, just an old white building that looks like it's packed full of stuff. Some ugly, some good. Worth checking out. And to pinch from another thread, the bbq at the convenience store a couple hundred yards past the antique store is fantastic.

What's up with FFX? Maybe they should be paying attention to teachers who don't pay their taxes instead of go after my peoples. Seriously, they were only dumping thousands of gallons of grease and sugar glaze down the drain for 4 years. You can't deny the deliciousness of hot donuts. Give em a pass! They gave scouts honor they wouldn't do it anymore. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/con

Let's do away with the parking fees..and put some slots at the entrances to the school. Hell, slots could be the answer to all of our tax revenue shortages. Maybe create a sportsbook elective class. The betting on high school sports is completely untapped. The possibilities are limitless.

Well, the reporters failed to mention that she had a double stroller, one seat filled with a well fed baby and the second one stacked full of Krispy Kreme donuts. She claimed she was selling them as a fundraiser for the new rehab center for Westfield alumni. At least that's what I think she said, she had a mouthful. What can I say, I thought I could shame her into trying to lose weight.

I'm not sure I dislike being alive. The Guinness sitting next to me is tasting pretty good. Eh, maybe my friends do despise me, could be right on that one. Better about myself...hmmm, I do feel pretty good right now. Hopeless powerzone...I don't know what it is, but I'm interested in hearing more about it.

I wouldn't apply for anything that requires spelling or minimal grammar skills. I painted fire hydrants for the Fairfax County Water Authority back in the day for I think $8/hr. What a cake job that was. I'd say we worked about 10 hours a week, and screwed around for 30. Probably too late to apply now, but try next summer. Easy place to work. Won't make you any smarter, in fact, you will wa

Oh no..they have to pay $200 per year to park their BMW's now? The horror. The audacity of the school system to even think about such a fee hike. Next thing you know, they'll be "correcting" the grading scale cause too many pussy ass parents want lil johnny to be on a equal grading scale with all the country bumpkins. Hell, why stop there, let's change the start time to 10 am for high schoo

From reading the law, it sounds as if the punishment doesn't get much jail time until subsequent offenses. I guess it depends on what the cop brings up in court too. Hell, it may even matter whether or not the judge got laid that morning.
