If the guy is worried you won't get the car fixed, will he settle for getting directly billed for the damage? That way he doesn't shell out too much cash and you get it fixed. Plus I think small claims court may be the answer as long as your witnesses will agree to testify for you.

Heh, probably lots of "EVASION OF TRF DEVICE" come from the Rt 29/Stone Road intersection. I used to take the bus from there, and lots of times a cop would camp out there waiting for people to come in from 29 and leave the lot without stopping to avoid the red. Just as well because the corner cutter would always cut up the bus lane and almost run people over.
