There are a lot of private and federal armoured white security vans. The vans are used to transport classified documents, disks etc... between buildings or to points to destroy the materials. It could of just been somebody waiting to pick up a guard. Are sure it was a FFX officer uniform?

Technically I don't think it's illegal to use a baseball radar gun in the county, but there maybe some law about intentionally distracting drivers or something like that. Same freq's as radar detectors are looking for? Not sure. Chances are that once you do it two or three times drivers with detectors are going to figure that it's a false reading in that area and just ignore the alert.

I posted it because a lot of FFX residents here have second homes\vacation properties in OC. They usually leave Thursday evening to get around weekend traffic delays. (Don and Mike...) Now if it was the bridge to the Outer Banks (or for FFX residents with OBX stickers on their car) I wouldn't care.

I take it the moron who thought this up thinks the traffic being diverted will just magically cross over 28 some how??? So it saved two cycles at one light, it has just moved that traffic to another light making that turn\straight light longer. The traffic was distributed in the old setup, now there is a bigger bottleneck down the road. It's a complete cluster f!
