Soccermom has not provided any names. I suspect because she has none. She is very likely one of those no bra, no nuke, frizzy haired lesbian man-haters who is using this tragedy to advance her anti-male agenda. interesting points Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > JG - I agree with your points that teachers should > be very, very careful in this envir

Good news if it is true. FCPS should also cover his legal expenses. I believe it is required by School Board policy.

You need to go to court with the little red receipt. The prosecution will likely toss the charge.

Sounds like a FCPS principal finally did the right thing. This situation reminds me of a bus driver at Luther Jackson whose view was obstructed by a tree on the school grounds and by some vines and foliage at Melpar. One weekend, he went over to the school and cut the tree down. It is no longer a problem. He also removed the vines and foliage. The dude didn't mess around. Kudos to him. Ba

Special ed kids are monsters and their parents are worse. My sister taught special ed at Hayfield ES. A kid beat her so badly that she had bruises. Her husband, a very successful attorney, wanted to go after the county and the kid. My sister was advised that to do so would jeopardize her career because the kid was also member of a perenially aggrieved community. At the time of this incident

Is McMahon definitely the last name of this girl? Does anyone have yearbook pictures that could be posted? Where will she attend school next year? This girl sounds dangerous. She could accuse again and the process could repeat itself.

Deer are crepuscular. I am always wary at dawn and twilight. When you see one, others are usually lurking nearby. The managed hunts fail because although the cops are good shots, they aren't hunters and they don't know how to track deer. Close the parks and send in guys with bows. The deer problem would be reduced. Let the Bambi lovers protest.

I don't know what Tino is doing these days. He lived off Hunter Mill Road for a while. I understand that Mama's/Tino's ran into difficulty. After Papa died, Tino and Tom didn't always agree. That was probably why Tom went to work for Mass Mutual, but I don't know if he stayed there. I don't know if the Castro family had to sell the property or what. heynow Wrote: ------------------------

The electric railroad ran between Arlington and Fairfax. Its bed was used for Fairfax Drive in Arlington, Railroad Street and Electric Avenue in Dunn Loring, and Railroad Street in Fairfax.
