Don't know where you got that but I assume you heard and remembered correctly.
If and it's a HUGE if, they have 300 viewers for each Ustream show, that's $1,049 per month in net expenses. I'm having trouble seeing the ROI. But I also have trouble buying the figure of 300 viewers and it's not good business for El Spic to talk about numbers like that in public anyway.
According to the FRONT PAGE ARTICLE IN THE NATIONAL WASHINGTON POST entitled "El Spic Takes Out an Ad" they had 30 million downloads in the first 7 years. Assuming 5 shows a week, that's about 17,000 downloaders, and 1% of that is 170, not 300. Oscar's people, clearly not
grande on the details.
