If we're ballparking the Reno take as ~$24000, I'm thinking the three way split was probably closer to $6000 each. The insurance broker's name is all over the backdrop, and was mentioned in all the promos leading up to the show, so they must have kicked in for a significant part of the expenses. The Podcast Patron hasn't been mentioned, but that doesn't mean she didn't contribute. That's still a paltry amount compared to what the failcrewe used to be making, but not too shabby for an otherwise free trip and a couple of hours masturbating in front of an adoring klub.

Right, I should have elaborated more.

What I didn't understand (maybe it was covered in a previous show) was why the LFF has a hard on for New Orleans. The Big Easy seems like a bad place for a person with a drinking problem and that is obese. Especially, if they can't draw enough listeners in to cover the costs.

The insurance guy is a P1 (I need a term for a P1 of hate...). He came on the failcast in a early days and gave the idiots some gifts.

I think the break down is:
$24k tickets sales
Free rooms, drinks, and food via casino bucks
$800 in airfare per person so like -$6.4k
Some % of drink sales, let's say 20% and 4 $10 drinks per klubber

Maybe a gross of $48k
Maybe $16.8k to the idiots (half of the door and 20% of booze)
Take home is like $10k (airfare, parking, etc)
$3.3k goes to each idiot

I don't excuse Robb's behavior. He is an adult white male and has no excuses for being the cackling douchebag that he is but he shows all the signs of ADHD and narcissism mixed with low self esteem. He would benefit from extricating himself from the podcast (it would also help the podcast- let Pony Boy take his place), getting some counseling, taking some adderall and also getting a personal trainer/life coach. He was a good parent to children under 9 years old apparently. He can't relate to his children as they get older because when he was a tennager, he was raised by television. Robb has resources at his disposal to make sure he gets healthy to see his kids get older, be a good husband and be a better person. I'm not holding my breath that he will take those steps. I hop that he does for his wife and kids because America doesn't need any more obese people. You lost weight once, Robb. Do it again for your kids.

Yeah, just listened to it and totally missed it until I read this. That's how much I pay attention. That's a pretty bad one too, "You know hat happens Manuel, when you have your spic food?" Oscar saw it coming too, but couldn't talk over Mike to drown it out.
If the Oncor guys a klubber, telling him won't accomplish anything, but some companies take a poor view of stuff like that from their affiliates.

Maybe this is the new listener initiative, Mike trying to pull the racist demo in.

Oscar's reaction was to Mike using the name, "Manuel". AND, his reaction was before Mike even uttered "Stink" or "Spic" food...

This has happened before. I will listen to it a few more times.

He has completely lost any ability he once had.

Be fair. I only have a diet Coke on planes. I wait until I have landed and can hop on an airport courtesy cart to be driven to the nearest restaurant.

There's enough room to disagree. Can't wait until somebody clips and loops it.

Well Mike did name the fellow passenger "Manuel" and he said it in an obvious, shitty way as to make no mistake that it was a slam on his ethnicity. It's a way more backhanded method to show racism than to just flat out say the word "spic". He couldn't just say "another passenger was eating a stinky burrito", he had to say "Man-WEELLLL was eating his stinky food, something wrapped in a tortilla..."

I'm glad this scandal is over. Though it did sound like "Stick."
