Maybe the reason TMOS fans all had long faces is that they are all old and suffering from strokes. You would need some sort of mental disability to have the patience to sit through that garbage.

I've not been to Reno, so I have to credit Certa's description of it as a smokey cesspool. Sounds right. (Mike did bitch about the condition of his room and Circus Circus in general). And then to be made to sit in a ballroom and be faced with a DJ, Cirrito a/k/a Jimmy Buffalo reading pages of Rodney Dangerfield jokes, busto TMOS trivia contest, Strine puppets on video, Spewak's leopard tux, and a CONGA LINE... no wonder those in attendance wore sour pusses. And they by definition were super fans...

This is pure speculation, but can you imagine how hard Rob(b)'a OCD kicked in when Julia was auditioning for Annie? I mean, he had to see himself playing Daddy Warbucks, right? He's bald. Has a white dinner jacket and black tie. He's a VCU theatre major. He probably badgered the hell out of the director. When the director didn't give Rob(b) what he wanted, he decided to poison the well by fucking around during the theatre meetings. I mean, no role at all in Annie? Can't they just create more orphans?
All speculation on my part, but this would fit with his MO. Instead of taking a setback in stride and working harder to earn your way, just act like a dick who never wanted it in the first place and continue being a failure in life. That's Rob(b) in a nutshell.

You've heard the term "resting bitch face?" I've noticed Rob(b) has sort of a "resting failure face." When he isn't fake laughing or fake postulating, he looks sad and bewildered, like even he can't believe he's him. Just look through photos where he's not "on" and you will see what I mean.

I don't know how many downloads they have but they don't have 26 million listeners. Just think about what a bold-face lie that is and how it went unchallenged on the show and wasn't even mentioned on this board.
