Not sure which vineyard it came from as they change their wines by the glass on occasion. I do recall it being a 2014. It was quite nice given that was a tough growing year. For the new day out here in the ever fabulous Sweet Spot meanwhile, we began at a chilly 30 degrees on the nose, but we should be reaching at least the mid 40's by mid afternoon. It's still quite breezy out there though, and even with all sun all the time, things are on the brisk and blustery side out there at the moment. One dasn't dawdle along the driveway if attired only in house clothes.

Attired now in even less than that is the naked, flab-ridden whiner, President Ding Dong. Now just piling disgrace on top of defeat, he engages only in unseemly displays of petulance in futile hopes of somehow tempering the personal shame of the massive loss he suffered a month ago. The creep is basically just acting out in hopes of receiving final doses of the attention he knows full well he will soon no longer warrant. As Niece Mary has said, this is all that The Donald is, and this is all that The Donald does. While he will no doubt try to gin up some frenzied FOX Frauds once he's booed out the door, he has quite literally become the personification of a Great American Loser.

In other news, Dick Allen passed away yesterday morning. ROY as Richie Allen for the Phils in 1964, he was also and as his much preferred Dick Allen, named AL MVP for the White Sox in 1972. Black and sometimes angrily so, he was one of the best hitters of the post-WWII 20th century. Having now died, chances are good that he will attain a deserved HOF status the next time veterans votes are cast. I hope so, and I'm glad I got to see, rather than just read about, so much of his career.

Sadly, I have also been able to watch so much of the fateful collapse of Falls Church City. Recent bad news includes the prospect that the EFC Metro station will be closed by a cost cutting WMATA unless federal funding is forthcoming in some sort of COVID or other relief package. Senate Majority Turtle McConnell is not in favor of that of course, so it might be time to check out some bus schedules before that service can be slashed as well.

There are townhomes along Park. A couple have front doors facing Park. Most are set back on pipestems, but none are painted in a questionable array of colors. In fact, none are painted at all. Every single one of them is a natural brick color. He knows he's fucked which is why he won't post the link or street-view image. Hence the reason I continue to torture him.
