The jury trial took place after Lizzie had been in jail for months. She was transported to the courthouse as Miz's witness for the civil trial as well, so she was available if needed.
But whether Monique testified or not for Miz, it was more important to the Morenos that she NOT testify for eesh. Monique had the power to destroy the Moreno's attempt to get the PO, the criminal charges, and their civil suit.
And Monique's value was not just her testimony but the intel and details she shared which helped form the legal cases and strategy for the Moronos.
