Here's another obscure one if you don't remember the 80s: Venus by Bannanarama: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkcU2_Vs7Xw This is actually a cover of a song by a 60s band I never heard of called Shocking Blue, whose singer was hotter than all three Bannanarama chicks combined. And the music is much better, too, more rock and less 80s shit noise, even though it's the same chords and melody it'

Song I didn't know was a cover: Warning by Black Sabbath When I was growing up a lot of kids thought "Walk This Way" was a Run DMC song, not Aerosmith. Same thing with Marilyn Manson's cover of "Sweet Dreams" by Eurythmics, and that was only like 10 years later. The Tool song "Sober" is not really a cover, but it's a re-write of a song Maynard Keenan wrote when he was in an earlier, hilarious

The 70s Charlie's Angels? Oh yes, they were hot, but you have to find a pic in which they aren't wearing awful 70s clothes. This is one of the more normal-looking pics, girls dress pretty much like this today still.

Yup. And if you're a member of the Weather Underground you get to have all the really cool guns.

It said "spotted", not captured. I'm surprised by the lack of hate for Kasem on this forum, being that he's an Arab-American and all. I guess it's hard to hate Shaggy.

Yeah, it is kind of sad to be stuck with that for life. But my inner dick still thinks its funny. Same with midgets. I will go to hell for laughing, but I can't help myself.

Apple is trying to maintain their hip image among the younger crowd, who were all like 6 years old when the iPod came out. Of course they weren't even born yet when Dre came out, but whatever.

I believe "Pretenders" was probably a play on the meaning of "pretender" as someone who claims to be the real king, as in "pretender to the throne". Maybe I'm wrong. And yes, Hynde's voice is awesome. Here's one you've all forgotten about: Allanah Myles. She had a hit song called "Black Velvet". Pretty good song, too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kAKYj7FmB4

It looks like the guy in the suit is wearing a stocking over his head, like he's gonna rob a bank or knock off an armored car in the 1970s.

Aimee Mann is actually kind of a big deal in Canada I think. She guested on a Rush track back in the 80s, around the time she had that Voices Carry hit, which was not bad for a pop song. Never thought she was hot, though. I agree Cyndi Lauper looked fun but ridiculous. I hated that half-shaved haircut she had. Her and Madonna were big into the trash-glam thing. Also from the 80s, and absolute

Loyal fans are retards who waste their lives over a game that has zero consequence in real life. These idiots live vicariously through a team of guys they don't know personally, simply because they are wearing the correct jersey. Bandwagon jumpers have all the fun without wasting years of time and tons of money emotionally draining themselves over a bunch of knucklehead jocks who couldn't give

THat pic of Robert Plant LOL. A lot of greats from the 70s went full douche in the 80s and then recovered later. Thanks for the Debbie Harry pics. She was fucking super hot back then. Now she's in the "looks ok for an old lady" category, which is about as much as you can ask for. Aging sucks. Also, Patty Smyth is up there with Suzanna Hoffs in the MILF category. Another one from the 80s, pop

I am a pretty good driver. But when it comes to parking I am a complete asshole. I love to park in handicap spots and in small lots like 711 I like to block people in. I drive a jalopy so I could give a fuck if you key it or something. And most people with handicap tags are full of shit and can walk just fine, so that makes it okay for me to do this.

Joan Jett was/is really cool but I've always thought she's okay-looking at best. And the Runaways were really a 70s band, which is why they have that skank look which is now common on the "people of walmart" website. Jett puts on a kickass show though, she is the real deal. Maybe my favorite rock and roll chick is probably Chrissie Hynde. Hot in the 80s, she always has that punk look, punk attit

It's really not a left-right thing; authoritarians in general fear the internet because it is so easy for people to broadcast their opinions quickly and anonymously, and also because things like Wikileaks makes it hard for them to keep secrets and plausible lies.
