My cat's vet took care of her cremation. I don't remember the exact price, but she was cremated alone and it was under $200.

Are syringes, needles, and abandoned needles so different that they need to be listed separately? And how does one see them while they are driving?

I'm rather disappointed that we didn't get more snow. I have decided that I must build a snowman this year. Otherwise, I'm trying to determine if I should have a beer or open a bottle of wine. I really want the wine, but my boyfriend is working late and I don't want to waste half a bottle of good wine. I know better than to drink an entire bottle by myself. Last time that happened, I got al

Okay... I'll try. I don't understand why anyone needs an assault weapon. I also don't think that banning them will have a significant impact on violent crime. I'd rather see money invested into our mental health system. I also think it makes sense to research better non-lethal methods for home defense. I'm not suggesting that people shouldn't be allowed to own guns, but that a non-lethal wea

This is the sort of thread that should be ignored. Unfortunately, I am feeling a bit feisty this evening. First, for what quality are you superior? Strength? I'm sure that was very important when fields were cleared by hand and hunting was necessary for survival. Now? You are better suited for the military and you make better body builders. I thank those who serve our country, regardless

I consider myself a liberal. However, I feel there is a large disconnect between what I actually believe and what the average FFXU thread claims I believe. In a serious attempt to promote better understanding on both sides: What do you think it means to be a liberal? What are the core beliefs?

One day, a woman's primary and backup parachute failed. She prayed to the Flying Spaghetti Monster to save her. As she neared the ground, she noticed a strange sensation - she had grown wings. Confident from this miracle, she stretched her wings and felt her descent slow. As she gently touched to the ground, the wings faded. However, her fellow skydivers witnessed the event and ate may plates of

Always tip on the full amount. In this case, you got special treatment, so I'd go with at least 25% of $50. I don't normally like tipping weird amounts like $12.50 or $13.00, so I'd probably just go with $15.00.

I'm going to be silly and answer this question seriously. Our library has a lot of fiction - fantasy, sci-fi, cyberpunk, "classics", thrillers, and plays. However, we also have a lot of text books and reference material - mostly on technical topics, but also on things like invertebrate zoology, religion, and leadership.

I would buy a fast and sexy car, but I don't know what. I would also buy a sailboat.

I also own a Golf which has held up incredibly well with very few repairs. However, this past fall I decided it was time for a new car. If I had gone with a VW again, it probably would have been the GTI.

Acadamia is way behind on cyber fields. Get a comp sci degree (don't limit your studies to java) and take some courses on TCP/IP, routing, etc.

You can be separated while still living in the same house. Do you have an extra bedroom? A divorce doesn't have to be expensive. I would imagine kids really complicate matters. But if you two can write/sign/notorize a separation agreement, there are law firms that will process everything for a few hundred bucks.

I bought a mini cooper s convertible in November. At the same time I was working with my salesman, a guy was haggling over a BMW. He still owed $10,000 on his trade-in (also a BMW) and was unwilling to put more than $2,500 down. The salesman initially offerred $7,000 for the trade-in, but the manager eventually agreed to $10,000. They also took $5,000 off the price of the new BMW (which broug

I took my first poll call on election night. I think I only got the call because I had a gophone for a month while awaiting a replacement iPhone (hint: phones don't like going through the washer). The call was probably meant for the previous owner of that phone number. The questions were dumb and the guy asking them was clueless.
