I'm guessing you meant "grumpy". Because "crumpy" just doesn't make sense. To me, at least. I'd say goodnight and don't let the bedbugs bite, but that might be misconstrued as yet another conspiracy. Bedbugs, that is. They plant 'em in our homes when we're not looking, you know. At any rate, in the words of Edward R. Murrow, good night... and good luck.

Wow... You're the gift that just keeps on giving, aren't you? If only the government had listened to you, right? Is that what you're going on about? Had they listened to the countless warnings you'd given them about terrorists playing video games at Dave & Busters, anthrax makers in scenic Edgewood, MD, and the Chesapeake Bay Sea Monster, maybe we wouldn't be in the mess we're in today. Wait

This is like a really bad Kafka novel. And by really bad, I'm talking plagiarism, bad grammar... the whole nine yards.

I still don't see the rationale behind the legend, regardless of which version (or in this case, which BRIDGE) we're referring to. The simple fact that there just aren't any documented homicides kinda kills it for me (no pun intended). At any rate, the 19th & Wilson film should be interesting. Maybe Chris Cooley is the Bunnyman... http://chriscooley47.blogspot.com/2008/08/ghosts-dont-exist.

Gentrification in this country is out of control. Basically, if you're not a chain establishment with stores/restaurants in all 50 states, you're not going to survive in today's market. The craziest thing is how so many idiots eat it up, though... Guess what the most popular tourist restaurant is in Times Square these days? IHOP. Unbelievable. These people make the trek to New York to experienc

As long as it's not you who was convicted of the crime(s), it doesn't matter how many people with the same name are on the list. You don't have a criminal record. Anyone checking into your background for security purposes would be able to differentiate between you and the offenders.

I agree that there's rampant abuse of the handicapped placard--especially in this area that's already teeming with asshole drivers. Basically, anyone who has a family member who may have obtained one legitimately seems to feel completely justified in using it themselves. That, of course, is wrong. However, there are indeed some less conspicuous disabilities that are every bit as debilitating--n

Our neighborhood also uses ADS, and while I've never had a problem with the pickups themselves, their customer service operators are complete idiots. I ordered a large trashcan (which costs $80, btw) and was surprised to learn that it would take 2 weeks to deliver. When the delivery date came and went, I called to find out what was going on, and was told that the operator failed to include my a

I get the sense that business isn't quite as booming as the owners' had hoped. Already, they've replaced the "restaurant & lounge" portion of their custom signage with a hideous larger generic sign on both sides of the building... I'm guessing somebody felt that people couldn't read the small lettering, and surely that must be why we're not still packing 'em in every night. I give it til t

Yep. I've seen him walking (and talking) through the parking lot near the Dunkin' Donuts. And it is disturbing, because the last time I saw a guy wandering the streets like that was about 8 years ago in Alexandria--and it turned out to be the crazy MFer who randomly stabbed that young boy in his front yard. Saw his mugshot on the news after they caught him and recognized him immediately. :/

It's probably before your time, but Erol's Video Club used to be the place to rent videos until Blockbuster essentially ran them out of business. Netflix and OnDemand are finally doing the same to Blockbuster. BTW, Blockbuster still occupies a smaller space a few doors down from Panera, in case you didn't notice.
