You don't hear much about him anymore but I find something basic and essential about his simple message, I predict, since we are entering a new year that there will very much be a re-interest in his past work. Ever hear his outlaw bicker songs?

At John Kennedy's inauguration in a moment of pure elegance and class he had Robert Frost recite a poem. Trying to bask in that glow and cogingent of a truly unique moment in history I believe Obama will also try and reach out to a similar figure as Frost. Do you also think so? My choice would be Pete Seger whether singing or reciting a poem. What do you think? What would your choice be? For Jo

I have advise people living in icy places. From now until spring you will have conditions where snow melts and forms icy pathways. The problem is traction. You can get traction by putting little screws 1/2, 3/8 into the soles of your boots or shoes. Obviously not long screws in the middle. I'd put about four in but even one will give you tramendous purchase and help you to avoid injuries which yo

fighting chickens are a special they are "game" inherently. A "Game"rooster will keep fighting because it is game. You can't make a chicken game. The saddest thing is the Animal rights people when they apprehend illegal chickens they will put them to sleep which seems some how unjust. If they really loved animals they would somehow try to preserve them or keep them alive one would think. Dogs

They feel that thier efforts of informing the public via Internet and radio will be curtailed in the near future. Both relayed attempts of the Globalists to bring them on board. I used to know Gene Berdean and Ed Shelton in Great Falls. cockfighting was a pursuit of our forefathers who viewed it as a rural pastime. A cock would be at least a year old before being fought where as broilers are generally 6-8 weeks. Cockers are fond of poultry as a hobby which is viewed as more and more unusal today. cock fighters hired a lobbyist and defeated attempts to make it more illega

Well there's quite a document that says Jesus did. How could such a document maintain credibility if no one witnessed? If someone just wrote it and no one witnessed it would not have credibility and no initial following. In the first century. The NT didn't just come in after that it. It had a big following up to and after the first century.

Ever think about the disadvantages of the industrial revolution? Before the Industrial revolution was village life. Everyone knew everyone from the time they were born until the minute they died. There was less materialism true but that was some blessing. There was a tie to the land that has been irrevicably broke. Everyone had a role and that was paramount in thier lives. There is a host of soci

Bob quotes: The Romans celebrated the Winter Solstice on December 25th as a renewing of the sun every year. In many European countries, this is called Yuletide, meaning wheel time, the cycles of time. The Church tried to put an end to this festival but failed. So, in 354 CE Pope Liberius repackaged this Pagan festival as Christmas celebrating the birth of Jesus despite the fact there is no record

Skeptics point to a long line of dualisms that are in the Bible and exist in pagan culture. Christians consider some of them counterfeits. To the Christian there's a religion I think it's called miterism seems counter fit Christianity. Christianity is a faith based religion. Still the spread of Christianity can correctly be based on the actual resurrection of Jesus and 500 people seeing him after

or indeed of they cast them for TV cast them with midwest accents. Though I think there is a yearning for community in modern man. We all lived in villages until the industrial revolution. In such villages everyone knew everyone from when they were born until they died. Think about that. Immigrants and thier immigrant community bring a lot of that community with them.

The Greeks made a philosophy out of Christianity, I forget what the Romans did but Americans made a mega business out of it. I Corinthians gives us a glimse of what the original church was and still should be. Clergymen who are essesencial to the contemporary forms of American Christianty, are as a group stystically problematic. The original concept of leadership has been suplied from the prescen

I remember once in Orange Virginia people hanging out was discouraged. Loitering as a problem.ting about it on Radio Orange. I wrote the paper telling them about the trend nationally to be disfamiliar and the book a Nation of Strangers by Vance Pakard. I get no sence of community by hanging around the Tysons Corner Mall. I used to remember checker games at old country stores in Madison. Once
