My best 4th of July memory happened when I was about 11. A friend of my mother's asked if her son could set up a fireworks stand in our front yard. My dad ran a business out of the house and we were zoned commercial, so we were able to do this. Essentially, we had a fireworks stand in our front yard. I would help this guy and his friend sell the fireworks. They would ask me to pull fireworks off

There is a hell of a lot of difference between $73 million and $42 billion. Also, the Feds have already provided California with a substantial chunk of change through the stimulus package. Republicans don't want to hear it, but Proposition 13 is the problem in California. Once you buy a home in California, property taxes don't appreciate with your property's value. So, if you bought a house in 1

Fuck it. These people can kill each other as far as I care. Bush got us into this debacle. This withdrawal is the closest thing to victory we are going to get. Six years, 4,000+ lives and $1 trillion for what? A very expensive lesson that any student of history would have known going in. You can't liberate people from themselves.

So the troll I pissed off for dissing Meade is now saying I look like Meade and that Meade is "ugly as fuck?" Interesting strategy.

I sincerely believe that Meade has a "Chocolate Rain" in him. They Call Me Porker came close. But I really think in the next year or so you will see Meade's star rise.

While the mobile lounges are stupid and became obsolete almost as soon as Dulles opened, I do like the design of the main terminal. I think DC is fortunate to have two of the most unique and memorable airports in the country (DCA being the other). Some interesting movie facts. Dulles is featured in "Fail Safe," which came out around the time the airport opened. Also, it is supposed to be Dulles

There are two problems with cap and trade. First, unless China and India are doing the same thing, it puts the U.S. at a huge competitive disadvantage. There is no point in industrial companies setting up operations here. Second, this CO2 market idea is like the Tulip Bulb market. It has no intrinsic value and is going to be manipulated. In the end you will do nothing to curb CO2 and it will dama
