state.gov tells you how you can get it expedited for about 3 times the cost. I think you need your tickets and stuff as proof. Poke around on there and you'll figure it out.

Reciprocity would obviate the need for non-resident permits, if this law is what I assume. I have a Virginia and non-resident New Hampshire which covers me pretty well in general, but you're right, it is a pain with Maryland and DC right here.

In my 4 years at W&M, we only had one guy commit suicide, and it wasn't on campus or even in Williamsburg. Those rumors are greatly exaggerated. A suprisingly large number of people died in accidents though. Also, to whoever said that GMU law has cache outside of DC, you are also sorely mistaken.
