Great episode. For once Daryl was actually not the number one badass, tonight he had to get in line behind Rick, Carol, and Tyreese. I'm actually going to miss having those connibals to hate on; watching them get fucked up was the best part. Zero sympathy for any of them. I liked it when they would get shot and left for the zombies to eat them alive. Did anyone see the cannibal leader die?

Well, it was the 70s and he and his crew were having a good time in show business, so I'm guessing he was. The entire cast of Saturday Night Live were doing coke out the ass at the time (and probably still are).

Van Halen kind of set the template for hair rock and paved the way. Spandex, over the top singer and guitar licks, etc. VH hit the scene in 78, before hair rock really exploded. But VH was a bit above the fray, making consistently good music until DLR left the band. Even with Hagar they were not hair metal, but they were a lot more pop sounding with douchier love songs.

I can't name most of these, I remember what most of them sound like though. Metallica is a thrash metal band, one of the Big Four, along with Slayer, Anthrax, and Megadeth. Metallica kind of sucks today, but back in the day when Cliff Burton was writing all their songs and they were young and hungry they were pretty awesome. Hanoi Rocks, I think the singer was killed by Motley Crue singer Vinc

In the 50s and 60s they were developing nuclear-powered jet engines so bombers could stay aloft for weeks or months. The engine itself was tested on a B36 bomber and worked pretty well, but the shielding for the crew was very heavy, and when the thing was on the ground it was very difficult to approach to work on because it was so radioactive. The airplane it was meant for was never built. https
